Any body kit you attatch to the front bumper makes it look like a cow catcher.
IMHO if there was a way to at least make the front bumper disappear, that would make a world of difference.
Anyone with a solution to the big bumper problem should post their idea(s).
This was my though exactly! It's also the reason that the Impul kit is my favorite of those shown in this thread.Unlike the rest of the kits, the Impul kit keeps the basic form of the stock bumper, which is a protrusion from the front of the car, not a solid vertical piece from the ground up. The lip and everything below the bumper need to be back behind the bumper in line with the grille and headlights in order to look right, IMO. This leaves the bumper to carry the strip/line at the midpoint of the car, and to accent the hood and headlights as stock, but it doesn't create the cattle-catcher slab of rubber than the other bumpers create.
Also, for some reason there are some kits (like the first JP kit posted far up in this thread) that look great on the 94-96 but don't look right on the belt buckle. I can't put my finger on exactly why...maybe it's the need for the grille to break up all the vertical surface.
As for the first kit posted, the side skirts on that LS are ridiculously bad. They look like someone put them on upside-down or something. The Q, alternatively, looks like a panting cow.
