I'm not gonna get back into why the tech package is overpriced for what you get... i've done that 1000 x over, and if anyone that has the tech package realized how much more you could get with that extra $2000, you'd probably change your tune...

bina, if you already have the tech package and want to get it again on your next car, then by all means do that... but for the same amount of money, I could put you a setup into your car that would absolutely put the tech package to shame in every way possible..... that's all I was trying to point out...

and yes, rear view cameras are amazing, I have one... and a tri zone DVD player/Nav unit with a built in 13 band EQ, with digital time alignment, USB input, IPOD interface and XM radio w/ NAv traffic, and it all costed less than $2000
i got my tech package for $1000 ;-). dealer threw it in for half the price because it wasnt something that i originally wanted. i can probably get the same deal on the coupe

I completely agree with you rob. I wish done a aftermarket system from the start. But I originally wasnt planing on doing all the mods i am doing, then the mod and nico bug bit me and wont let go. Thats why I just said I love my reverse camera

If you don't watch dvd's, don't need a usb input, don't care for ipod integration, and don't care about not beig able to use your Navi while driving, then I would say the tech package is just fine! Its your car and your money, spend it as you see fit....

I wish I would of not gotton the tech package and just went aftermarket from the get go. If you ever plan on putting new speakers in the car, or a sub woofer. You are going to need to change everything anyways.

Now I will haft to try and sell all the bose stuff that came in my car as soon as I start buying my speakers

I kinda like using the rearview camera while moving forward. Completely useless, but fun.

Oh yeah, coupe FTMFW!
