its a question of motivation overcoming laziness. Ford instituted a recall so youd think at least one of the several people that ford pays to know this kind of thing would be there... if not it would have taken at max 10 mins to find out and give us an answer, but since they obviously didnt give half a crap, they just blew us off. greaaat. i notice also that a lot of these guys will admit to not knowing anything beyond the EXTREME basics of the mazda cars that their dealership sells, and they will actually refer you to a mazda dealership hours away or a private shop that will perform warranty work... so wtf is up with that? nobody cares enough to try i guess.
I think you are just a d!ck. I'm curious what your position in life is that you feel you can make such a broad assumption about those more technically inclined than yourself. Yea, there are bad technicians... yes there are bad dealerships with poor management -- but there is also a VAST MAJORITY of very highly trained technicians that work hard every day to assure the customer is happy with their car when it leaves the shop. The dealership I worked for had fired most of their techs before I arrived in a 'clean up' of some of the bad workers and they were replaced with some good techs. If you dont do your job you will be removed -- simple as that.
You had a personal bad experiance... which goes very far for recognition but very few will acknowledge a GOOD experiance... good rule of thumb is that for every bad experiance it takes three good ones to balance it out. I doubt I'll ever hear you sing the praises of those who were helpful and friendly but instead you'll banter on about the single BAD experiance that make every technician in existance evil and lazy.

It was a good program, great for those who plan to make a career of autowork. It was during a time in my life when I wasnt sure what direction I wanted to head but I left the program half way through as I didnt feel as if I wanted to be a automotive techician all my life. I may still go complete the program just for the knowledge as I know I can always learn something new though. I have shifted to a mechanical engineering degree just for my own personal means but am working towards being a radiology technician for the hospital in my area. Right now I'm a computer tech, working his tired way through college.

You sound very mature... have fun Burger Prince, because I and many others are tired of listening to you. Wonder how many of us it would take to ban your *** from NICO.
