^ Thanks guys! 6:1 it is. I'll hunt around and see if I can find a used vortech one.

Plans have changed as I'm not going with the CX kit anymore. I found a great deal on a turbo and am probably gonna pick it up. It's a rebuilt Garrett T3/T4 Hybrid, AR is .60 and .63. It has an internal wastegate and already comes with braided lines.

I'm going to be pairing this with the Gladman manifold. As far as intercooler setups, can I use a DOHC or SR, or will I have to buy a SOHC specific intercooler kit?

And a downpipe. Would it be better to have one made from say a muffler shop, or can I use an SR one?

You won't be able to use an SR downpipe, the flange that bolts onto the turbo's exhaust housing is different.
You'll most likely need to get one custom made at a muffler shop.

As for the intercooler setups, you'll need to get an SOHC specific kit, the throttle body locations are different on a DOHC, iirc.

Actually I think you can just get one for a later model SR or a CA. I know the throttle body is on the top side of the manifold the the single slammer, whereas the DE is down below. I'll try and find some pics here on the interweb.

CA FMIC kit should work. The s15 SR also has a top mount throttle body, but it's angled slightly to the left so you'd have to make up for it within the coupler, and that's a boost leak waiting to happen. Here's a link for a cheap CA kit.

Awesome!

The SOHC specific kit is like $80 more and comes with a BOV.

Do you think it's worth it to have the BOV flange already welded on?
