I am starting to feel the same way. My car was towed in due to it not being able to start (2008). This was on Friday. They haven't looked at it yet because the service tech assigned to it is off until tomorrow.

It may become theirs as this is the third time for the same problem.

There is this vette that is starting to look very interesting.

Rich...

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you get that new G37 sedan Its sexy and fast. I'm glad you walked away.

One day I will walk into a dealership to buy a new vehicle. I'll be looking like a bum and even though I'm 27 I get told that I look like I'm 20-21 all the time. I'll pay cash for my car and hopefully the "new" sales guy is "assigned" to work with the guy that looks like a waste of time.

Perry...Hope you don't have to deal with what Rich went through. What Corvette are you looking at? I love vettes!

2005 6L with 6 speed manual. This is a list of add ons:

'Some of the performance upgrades include Z06 sway bars, Kooks headers, x-pipe, Flowmasters, upgraded engine computer, ram-air intake, Z06 trans and differential built for 800-hp and 1.5 lowering kit.'

The GM of Modern Infiniti of Winston Salem/Greensboro called yesterday to see how my G37 deal at Infiniti of Lake Norman went. Told him how the azzclowns jerked us around and that I listed it for sale on Craigslist.

He told me that he would match their deal and he had a white G37 Sedan on his lot. Wife is leaning back toward the WHEAT interior with the wood grain. Not sure if we will do it. Wife REALLY would like a white G37 Coupe, but we really need at least 1 sedan. And, Modern has a new white 08 Coupe left!!!

Perry, also lover the vettes! However, for the money the interior needs to be just a bit better.

Don't know about that. Drop a 2006 today with a price tag (Kelly Blue book) that is almost exactly the same as mine. Lots of bells and whistles, main thing missing is a hard drive and iPod connection. Dash has all the normal gauges but also available are the specifics of those gauges, oil pressure, water temp, transmission temp, just to name a few. Was really impressed with the heads up display on the windshield which actually looks like something that could be placed on a 'G' as an add on as it didn't seem to be that hard to do from a technical standpoint.

Car is a little noisy inside but may have to do with tire pressures, etc. One problem which is not really a problem is there was a second body colored top in the back which made a lot of noise. You normally would not have two tops with you so this wouldn't normally be an issue. Car was fast but not that much more so than the 'G' over the roads I tested it on. I couldn't really opened it up on the freeway since there was a lot of traffic.

What was sort of shocking was compared to the 'G' you could actually work on the car doing most maintenance yourself easily. Easy access to most things although the front hinged hood could be a factor for cooling system work but then didn't look that hard to remove if necessary either. Belt, plugs, battery, nearly everything was almost like the older cars where you had access to them for maintenance.

I am going to see what type of horse trading they may be willing to do.

As far as the 'G' still in the shop as the technician was sick today. The service manager was able to duplicated the failure and wanted his best tech to work on it. I told him I wasn't satisfied with a new car out of service for over 10 days so far this year and being forced to drive a 10 year car that has been out of service for a total of 3 days since I owned it including timing belt, water pump, brakes and suspension work, all elective being done.
