i think that those clear tail lights could look cool on certain colored S13's that would be tight. Too bad it's illegal though. And as far as those S15 tail lights go, at least they dont look like they were made in taiwain and really cheap looking like almost every euro tail light style you see now days, especially for civics. They look high quality and the price shows it.

in a way, i can understand both sides of the argument. being that i love my 240 (and pretty much ALL of the S chassis cars, for that matter), it pains me deeply to see them suffer the abuse of what i consider bad taste. it's almost like i take it personally...
on the other hand, i can't help but to agree w/PROJECTRB240SX in that i only own MY 240 and not everyone else's. that means, my money is only going into my car, so i can only govern what goes on with my car. so what anybody else does is up to them. i don't have to like it, i don't have to respect it, but i don't have to spend all day griping about it, since it's beyond my control. i find it all pretty pointless. it's one thing to express discontent, it's something entirely different to rant...
in a nutshell, if someone wants to "rice" their ish (again, strictly OPINION), i'm not gonna stop them. however, if i catch somebody trying to do so to MY particular car, i'll of course have to beat that a$$.

^^ if u want the real answer to that (let the record show that this is only my opinion; not fact based on a 5 yr long case study among automotive enthusiasts), i think it lies in bias. i think it's a natural tendency to put what u own/like above all others (whether or not there are factual statistical grounds for such). when i first got into cars, it was all GM. to me, GM owned. first it was F bods. but then, i fell into the romance of the "underdog" mentality: hence the J bods. just because i liked GM cars so much, on any occasion, i could just about always come up w/one reason or another that they were better than everybody else. whenever i would read an article (like in Car & Driver) that would place a mustang over a camaro, i'd be crushed and i wouldn't accept it. of course, all this nonsense was going on up until i was about 18...
now, i've learned to be more objective about things in general, and cars in particular. while i still love my Nissan/Infiniti's, i've learned that what's "better" than something else (where ares are concerned) is purely subjective. so is style. for example, to some, a bodykit adds a visual enhancement to the car. to others, it's needless extra weight and flash; tight to one, rice to the other. that said, i will not hesitate to say that i have my own personal view of what's ricey and in poor taste. it doesn't meant that i'm necessarily right, just that i have my own opinion.

PEOPLE SHOULD DO WHAT MAKES THEM HAPPY AND NOT GET CRITICISED FOR IT, BUT IN THIS WORLD ITS IMPOSSIBLE. btw... i don't know why you people keep calling thoughs tail lights clear corners...there not...
Clear corners are when you take the amber out of something. Like when a honda owner takes the amber out of the tail light and its just red and white. When i use to be a corolla owner i took out the orange flange in the front and now it was clear corner headlights. I honesly think on some cars clear corners are nice. But thoughs S15 tail lights are damned ricey euro tails.

Who said it was JDM? their still made in Taiwan or china.
But they make them for many cars and vans that are not even available here.
In Japan, modifying a car to its fullest is kinda like a status symbol i guess you can say. Alot of cars have altezzas.
Also alot of Japanese cars are into the "Sport Compact/American scene".
