That would have been funnier if Smocky has quoted the post he was intending to respond to, instead of the wrong one, and of course, if well you know, monkey see monkey do.

Hey, shut up! If you weren't hoggin the thread I could have quoted the right one. I fixed it, thank you very much.

Oh and thanks for the correction Greg, much appreciated. I'm glad I have an editing staff, I must have confused the plays.

I think that's a personal attack

But you're probably right, I was too drunk to remember the play. I did have two hits towards 2nd you know. I mean, who plays softball sober?

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%.Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 40%.

Funny how so many people came out Libertarians, considering the creator was one.

Yes because asking me 10 questions can assertain my affiliation. I am not a libertarian because I do not condone drug abuse.bud

True, it focused on 4 questions of personal belief and 4 questions of economic belief. That is incomplete to say the least. IE lowering taxes by 50%. A person may be in favor of tax cuts et realize that 50% would be disastrous and therefore answer the question negatively.

Another thing that it doesn't consider is that a persons opinion on issues change with respect to the current political climate. So, seriously, that dot would should be dynamic with most people.

I'm a rookie. How do I bring the chart over from the results and display it here?

My red dot is directly on the second "t" in "Centrist". OriginalWheelman and I are a perfect balance (scary thought, eh?).

Right click on the image, and click on Copy Image Location (or something similar to, but not the link location). Then come over here, put down the image code and paste.

I took this quiz on Face Book and still scored in the Libertarian section, just more to the right. Last time I was more to the center. Not sure what changed.. in the month time frame.

The first time I did this, I got:

Quote »Your PERSONAL issues Score is 0%. Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 0%.
Huhn?

Then, I realized ... my computer firewall prevented that site from running properly.

So, second submission:

Quote »Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%. Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 60%.
In the Centrist section - one diagonal directly above center.

Quote »CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind,

tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what

they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.
A fair description of my thoughts ...

I went back and took this survey again. Interestingly enough, although I was a big-time conservative in my younger days, as I get older and see what has happened in our political system and to our fellow citizens as a result of it, I've moved to dead center. My new results are dead on the crosshairs of the center.

Results were 50% and 50%.

Haven't moved much.

Noted that there's not enough questions to really determine much, and the site itself seems to be a Libertarian project, so take it all with a big 'ol chunk of salt.

I'm the opposite side of Libertarian from Chris. 80% social, 100% economic.

Though frankly, this quiz sucks. It's pretty much "agree, maybe, or disagree with Libertarian talking points.

I was torn between agreeing and disagreeing for some of the questions, and maybe isn't a valid stance, it's more of a quagmire.

In retrospect, this quiz does suck.

It's good at getting conservatives to see whether they agree with both the social & economic parts of the GOP agenda or just one.

Of course, this is exactly what it's designed to do, pick Republicans off and convince them that they're Libertarians, so I suppose it'd better be good at that.

I'd like to find a more robust political quiz.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 30%.Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

Conservative

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditionalvalues." They oppose excessive government control of business,

while endorsing government action to defend morality and the

traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong

military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market

economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.
