:weird i'm way more mature then most boys in my grade. Which by the way is very depressing.in a level of maturaty i'd say I'm mentally 7 years or so more mature then my actual physical age, And i'd say that because, i hang with my br alot, (who is 7 yrs older), and i hang with his freinds also. (hell i even find them to be immature at times.

Plus if i was immature, why the hell would i be thinking about this stiuff in the first place?

The engine analogy doesn't really make sense. I mean, if you hear a ticking sound or anything else for that matter, you know there's some sort of solution for it because it's a machine.

You can't say the same for death. Yeah, people there have been people who have cheated death or lived to 110. They still died eventually. What's the point in stopping to take a look? There's nothing we can do about it.

So you're saying if it's bound to happen why give a f*ck?
This doesn't make sense to me either. Everything you listed can be replaced. You can't replace death. It's inevitable.
TurboSauce wrote:if your daughter is bound to get pregnant, would you give a f*ck if i have sex with her unprotected?
If I had a daughter, I would do my best to instill some morals and common sense in her. The decision she makes to have unprotected sex is hers, not mine. I'll have done my part in educating her, what she does with that knowledge is up to her. Yes, I would give a f*ck if you forced her into unprotected sex. I would personally come and give you the worst a**-kicking of your life. But if that was her choice, then fine. I'm not saying I'm going to disown her or anything, I'm still her dad, and I'll still do what I can to support her.

I'll add my .02 cents and you can take it for what it's worth. Being that you are 15 and still in HS you have no idea what it's like in the real world (unless you're an orphan). You can say you want to find yourself but in reality who you "are" is determined by what you do (sports, chess club, drama club), who you hang out with, and how you act. Bottom line, enjoy HS, make the most of it, in 10-15 years you'll look back on your HS years and either say "Damn, I really loved HS, and I miss it" or "I really hated school and I'm damn happy it's over."

After you finish HS, you enter your truly formative years on "Who I am", will you go to college and be the football hero who goes on to succeed, will you be a tree hugging hippie who wakes and bakes until the day you die, or will you make the most of it and party your a** off and wind up "normal". I went into the Army straight out of HS and trust me the Military definately defines who you are as a person, you either become a lifer who has discipline, character, and a unique outlook on life and the people around you, or you become somewhat disgruntled, but at the same time sure of who you are and what you want out of life.

Then between the ages of 25-30 a light switch will click (that maturity finally kicking in) and you'll wake up one morning and go "f*** I wasted the best years of my life and need to get my s*** together" or "I'm well on my way to having everything I want out of life, so it's time to kick it up a notch" Only you as an individual will "know" who you are, there are no labels for Adults, trust me, once you get out here in the real world, finances, stress, work life, social, life, and relationships tend to make labels a devoid thing, which is why you're getting the responses you are getting.

I wish I had the time to "label" myself, but being that I'm about to get laid off yet again, have child support raping my paychecks, and a pretty miserable relationship and no social life (You needs money to go party), labels and finding oneself are kinda low on the totem pole of life. You want to find yourself, you'll do it between the ages of 22 - 30 and not before, life has a funny way of telling us who we "are"

[QUOTE=TurboSauce]Ok, I will be straightforward with you guys, I know when I'm on here i tend to be an annoyance, QUOTE]

Nala fits that description that better than you. j/k

I think being philosphical as a teenager is okay, but your life experiences are just beginning to occur so I would not jump to any conclusions and attempt to categorize yourself yet.

At 15, instead of focusing reflection on limited experiences, perhaps you should think more about discovering what you want or like to do. Find out what you enjoy doing and what fascinates you. Give yourself more experiences to reflect on.

Take the opportunity your youth gives you to learn and explore what might want to do next, whether its college or directly to a career. The nice thing is you don't have to decide today or tomorrow.

No.

Because everyone in their teens think of this when they're depressed, and it goes 1 of 2 ways: 1. You either become really emo, or 2. You learn that its a slow process and comes with time and then you start having fun.

because you haven't reached that place in life yet where you know who you are.

it'll get there...then you can be true to yourself.
