btw you can just take the carbon canister out, I did with mine and I've had no problems

so the silver can on the driver's side of the mechanical fan can be removed with no issues? did you bolt up ur power steering reservoir there? pics please.............

ah wouldn’t that be nice to solve your dilemma about that power steering reservoir just hanging around.

Yeah.. you can remove it. Just plug all of the vacuum lines, but keep the fuel line open to vent the vapor.

Just to verify (because I'm doing the same thing.

The 2 vacuum lines near the throttle body that go to the canister = plug.

The 1 line that goes to the canister that is a hard line on the driver's side = fuel line? vent?

I think I saw 3 lines total, the 4th was below the canister and went no where.

i had already removed all my vaccuum lines, but I believe there are two going to the can that enter from the top, across the radiator shroud. the hard line runs up the frame rail on the driver's side. Its the only hard line that connects to the can.
