I'd be a lot more inclined to give that game a try if the website told me ANYTHING AT ALL about it. You have to register to see any details. Where are the screenshots? Even a basic description? What a horrible website.

Ain't it the truth, I got my fingers in like 10 game pies and have only beat one of them as of late and that's F.E.A.R....and since I started playing Fallout 3 I've completely stopped playing anything else!

...the only way I stopped playing Fallout 3 was to sell it. I got my 1000 gamer pionts and sold it real quick so I can get some money back. I will buy Fallout3 again when they come out with a GOTY edition.

I can't wait to play it again, with all the new stuff.

I am happy that there is no games in August that is a must buy for me.....I need to save some scrilla

There is a lot of great DLC coming to the marketplace next month and even a couple of discs that can be picked up on the cheap.

There is a new map pack coming to COD:WAW middle of the month

There is the final Fallout 3 DLC coming on the 3rd and Point Lookout and Broken Steel will be coming out on a disc

GTA4 has TLAD and some new story line about Gay Tony coming out on a disc later in August that you won't need GTA 4 to play

Madden 2010 comes out beginning of the month and there are quite a few XBLA games that look promising.

I love my GTX260. Wish it had more memory, though.

I actually just finished Crysis today. Picked up the stupid VTOL segment toward the end and endured the frustration (the thing is much less maneuverable than the enemies you're fighting) and got on to the ending. I still feel that the game really falls on its face after the zero-g section, but after the VTOL bit it did regain some of it's earlier composure.

I started playing Crysis Warhead, too. I had to adapt back to the strategic style of play that dominates early Crysis because I got so used to the generic run-and-gun from the later stages of Crysis. That was the problem with the late game...it lost the distinctiveness and became just another alien shooter. Warhead is definitely a lot of fun in comparison, with the suit serving a real purpose aside from bashing open doors (what a stupid tedious idea anyway) and the map actually open again.

Steam has an ARMA 2 demo for dl but I'm honestly not impressed, I have it on it's lowest settings on my laptop that is running a Core 2 Duo setup with Vista 64 and it's just so buggy and slow. I'll wait until they drop the console version later this year.

Trying to decide which HDTV to get! My plan is to buy a new hi-def TV before I get one of the console systems...I'm leaning more towards the Playstation 3.

Just make sure to get something with a decent contrast ratio and good black level. Otherwise you'll spend the rest of your years looking at that TV cursing yourself for not buying more carefully.

If you can, get one of the new LED TV's...they're awesome, use less power, have better contrasting...etc. I'm totally getting one next year once my brother moves out.

Also keep in mind that Plasma's have a lifespan of 50K hours, whereas LED TV's last much longer. You may think that 50K is a long time, but depending on the number of hours your TV is on you could eat up that lifespan in a couple of years.

Also stay away from anything made my Magnavox or Philips, I have a Magnavox and I've shipped it out for repairs twice in 3 years. First for the power supply, (which is a very bad part, they blow out every couple of years) and this last time we sent it out b/c the A/V switch is starting to go, they sent it back saying nothing is wrong, but it's still acting up.

Get a 360, if you are playing Games for Windows and have a gamertag and score, there is no reason to not just roll it over to an Xbox Live account. Plus the 360 has a much bigger game library and the games are just as good if not better than what the PS3 is offering... Plus if you are leaning towards the PS 3 for Gran Turismo 5, who knows when they'll actually release it. However the PS 3 does have the Metal Gear series as well as the God of War series. Oh and the 360 is like $200 cheaper than the PS3.

Thanks for the input people much appreciated! I just beat Crysis, excellent game with amazing graphics! Haven't checked yet but there has to be a sequel on the way yes?! As far as TV's go I've always bought RCA and have never had any problems with them.

I just saw a 40 inch Samsung LED LCD TV selling for $900 @ my local Fry's store. regular retail was 1600. AHHH I want a new TV too. but I already have a 42 inch....only 720p though

I got my Retro-Duo...now I am hunting for SNES and NES games.
