I just came upon this realization the other day. My car was gone for over 3 weeks gettinga rebuilt engine installed. I really began to miss my old altima since I never had any problems with it. When my 240 came back and I got the timing right for it to run perfect again, I realized how much I really love this car. Nothing is better than taking a mid-day cruise and taking some crazy fast turns. I just would like to hear some more, "i love my 240 stories."

On perfect days durring the spring and summer i take my car though Valley Forge Park with the windows down and just take it all in, amid the beutiful scenery and growl of the engine at wide open throttle, i think to my self "i love this car" :)

Every morning when I see her in my underground parking lot. She stands out and gives me goosebumps everytime.

Greatest time during the summer was at around 5am when the sun was coming up and there were no cars on the road. Windows down, sunroof open, volume up, and throttle open =)

I remember right when I got it, I drove it out to the Deception Pass overlooking the Puget Sound (which was like 20 minutes from my house) and just took in everything surrounding me. The view, the scenery, the song on the radio, everything. Whenever I get in my car I'm reminded of that, and it always makes me think "Damn I love this car!"

the best feeling i get is when i drive at night. around here people turn in early.. so driving around at 11 PM you dont esee many other cars. i feel like its just me and my 240 alone in this world and the roads are all ours. i cruise with the windows down and enjoy the quiet hum of my KA. and thats when i get that feeling and i know that i love my car...

my car is great, i love it more than anything. i just love driving around in it, the time of day usually does not matter. if im having a bad day, i will just go drive my car around and when i get out, i forget my day was bad at all. i wouldnt trade this car for the world, no matter how much money it costs me. sure id like a ferrari enzo or a r34 gtr or something, but i would have to be able to have my car too.

fun stuff!: runs great now, 2 days ago i burned a honda civic with a rice pipe by about 20 carlengths, all while keeping it in 5th. silly little sohc non vtec civic. he had a look of pure terror on his face as i absolutely flew up to and past him. im not proud of this win or anything, but the guy deserved it, pulled up to me and revved it at about midnight on an empty street. guess he heard the bov. yesterday i kept up with an auto 91 acura nsx. that thing goes like crazy but somehow the 240 (which never ceases to amaze me) fared alright, holding fairly close to him. course he beat me, its a $90k car, but i was amazed that he didnt roll me up and smoke me. i mean, he has 320hp.

I remember the day I walked up and saw my car for the first time! "2000" I was looking for a 240 for over three months and a friend who works for a dealer here in Orlando called me and said to come look at this trade in they had. I walked up to her and my eyes got as big as sand dollars! She was all stock in SE trim with a big Nissmo banner across the windshield. At the time I worked for a Nissan dealer and was pre approved for a loan but I did not have the car I waned. Long story short I bought her for 14,800 with 19k miles and I will own and love her for the rest of her life!

I don't think I will ever get rid of my 240. As I get older, I'm sure I will have other cars, but I wanna keep this in the back of the garage for those "rainy", hehe, days.

I love my car because it's 13 years old with over 150k Miles on it, with a fading transmission and a broken stereo, and I STILL get goosebumps driving it hard, even though it is bone stock. Then I think about all the potential in it and just have to grin.

the last drift event that i went to, i had to get up at like 6 in order to make it there in time to beat the crowds and get registered early, i let the car warm up, and left. and there was no one on the road so i was going really fast and shifting perfectly, and there was just nothing better. until i got on the interstate and the plastic piece under my bumper (yep thats the technical name for it :D ) decided that it wanted to come loose and make me look like a jackass on the side of the road zip-tying it up. good times though

My car......Its a love hate relationship.......

Also im a little co-dependant.......

My mood dpends on how my car is running.

Anyway. My many memeories of having people check out my car at shows (and winning some trophies:D ), thumbs up and asking "what kind of car is that?" on the road, hitting the gas and feeling the power on a warm summers day, all make the hassles, time, and money worth it.

But when I spank a mustang, camaro, honda, keep up with a Viper gts-r (yes it did happen), THAT IS THE BEST FELLING OF ALL.

I LOVE MY 240/SILVIA......:blue

Well that really sucks. I had a rebuilt longblock installed in my 89 and it runs real good. I can't even believe the power it has over the old 130k mile kaE. And I've done no mods to it besides an intake. Possible another sohc turbo in the makes sometime down the road, but for now, just suspension mods.

The 240 is such a great car i love it so much, the great thing about it is how it just hypnotizes you with its smooth turns and pretty quick acceleration (not stock). everytime i let someone drive my 240 they end up getting one themselves. you can't even explain how good it feels to drive one. 129,000 miles and my baby still runs like a bat out of hell. it just makes me smile when i race cars that cost $16,000+ and i beat them when i only spent $2,000. nissan made one heck of a car!!!

nothing beats pushing her hard with the top down, and then when i get home, taking in the sweet smell of used fuel. i also love working on her, knowing i'm doing it for fun and not to keep her running like i did with my old tempo :D

I would defintely rather work on my car for performance reasons than general maintainence of if something breakes.

I remember driving 300+ miles to Pheonix to pick up my 95... the car we took was a 97 Integra LS... I drove halfway and almost fell asleep since most of the trip was long, straight, super hot highway (temperature was in the 100+ range outside). We got to the seller, made the exchange (my $$, his pink slip, etc.) and the plan was to drive about 1/2 way back to L.A. before stopping for food and rest.

...but then I had a lot of open road in front of me and my "new" S14... I ended up driving the whole way alone with my car, with only 2 stops - 1 for a full tank (I was averaging 80-110 because I wasn't used to the torque compared to my old SE-R), and 1 to wait for my friend in his Integra... who took about 5 minutes before catching up to me =)

I love my 240 because its easier to work on than my last honda. Dam civic. Also I love my 240 because I have low end torque. I also love drifting. Nick

I love being able to drive next to my fellow 240 owners and just get that feeling of comradery when we don't even know each other. I'm thinking we have a bond that really can't be broken as long as we have our cars.

On the performance side of things...it never ceases to amaze me how hard she pulls, how fast she turns, how responsive she is. Ever.
