Just the sound of it when it starts does it for me everytime. The blow off valve inbetween shifts....sliding turns....there is soo much to love...then there is all the dents...haha, i don't love those

I bought my first 240 this summer, shortly after my girlfriend broke up with me. It is one of the few things that actually cheered me up after being completely devastated. I looked on and off for a couple of years for a 240, however i could not find one that was worth buying. Finally, I stumbled across one and I bought it right away. There is so much to love about these cars. They look good, they are fairly inexpensive, and they eat corners for breakfast. Definately one of the greatest vehicles ever designed.

Getting my car back after being without her for 3 weeks. It was late, barely any cars on the highway, cool breeze, that's when I realized I really love my car. Nothing looks like our cars boys. Nothing ever will. I miss her since she decided she didn't like the spark plug anymore and decided to shoot her out of the spark plug hole. LOL.

Mine was gone for 3 weeks also. It felt so good the first night I was off work to be able to just take her for a spin. I love just hearing the engine work when I'm drivin her. It feels so solid compared to my altima ever did in the turns.

i'm with you there. i was saving my money for a lancer OZ rally after she broke up with me in may, but my father backed out on co-signing a loan, and i was left with no new car. a mechanic one of my friends knows was rebuilding 240's with SR motors for a decent price (i payed 6900 for mine with 35k SR, custom mounted A-pillar autometer guages, FMIC, new diverter valve, and custom wired electric fans)

Also im a little co-dependant.......

My mood dpends on how my car is running.

Anyway. My many memeories of having people check out my car at shows (and winning some trophies:D ), thumbs up and asking "what kind of car is that?" on the road, hitting the gas and feeling the power on a warm summers day, all make the hassles, time, and money worth it.

But when I spank a mustang, camaro, honda, keep up with a Viper gts-r (yes it did happen), THAT IS THE BEST FELLING OF ALL.

I LOVE MY 240/SILVIA......:blue
i know exactly what your talking about!! sometimes i wake up and i want to take a baseball bat to the S14 and sometimes...well ...only a golf club

i bought my 240 in may, put a b&m shifter (that is AWESOME) on it and only got to drive it for about 2 weeks, though it wasnt insured so i wasnt driving it much during that time, before i pulled the motor and started all of this madness, i should be able (if there are no more set-backs) to be driving my baby again next week.

its been 5 months... i want to drive it so bad.

Valley Forge Park!!!!!!!! I used to live up that way... (phoenixville, if that rings a bell )anywho, every time I catch a reflection of my 240 in the glass on a building or something, I think, damn this is a sexy beast! yeah baby! This also being my first rear wheel drive car, I fell in love the first day I drove her home and got a little sideways turning to get on the interstate. YEAH! go 240's, they ROCK! i love it. Especially on those boring, summer days, spending time with the 240, fixing it whenever something breaks or when something needs to be changed. Also tail sliding thru dips w/ minimal counter steering is cool.

I love my 240 but i need more speed. A turbo or nitrous would get me there but i want it to be reliable. Maybe i should save my money and see what i end up doing with it. I love cool fall nights when my car is running perfect and a road full of twisties in front of me. And the reflection of my car on the side of the riced out honda that i blow by is always refreshing.

i love it here in austin in the fall, the early mornings when its cold and moist, with all the fog in the hill country, turbo cars run absolutly perfect at those times, and its so beautiful here.

thats when i love driving, and my swaps gonna be done just in time to enjoy it.

I remember the days when I used to walk to school and see this car everyday and wish it was mine.

The day I saw a for sale sign on it, I brought her home. I dont dive a lot, but when I do, I never wanna stop. This is my first real car (my dad paid for the other cars and I paid for this).

I know many friends who decided to take the toyota / honda path, but man my car still looks good and drives good and when I rev it above 4K you can hear the engine growl.

Everytime I see a 240sx at a light.... I cant help but stare at it and wish that I owned that one too ;-)

151,000 miles and half as old as me, a bumper that hangs a cracked windshield and a broken rearview mirror. But when I get the money...... I"ll fix her up. Not once has this baby let me down. And yeah like many of u guys, I already have a place in the garage of my dream house for the best car that was ever made.

when im driving through a crowded parking lot on a friday/saturday night and i give the bov to all the ricers, and when people say, "that looks really nice". when i was interviewed to sell cars at nissan, the guy asked me what my greatest accomplishment is. i told him "my car, i had to save up for all the parts on it-i paid for everything myself, i did everything myself, and its freggin hot" more or less...

I just love going outside and seeing MY car sitting in the driveway. A clean, great running SR sitting in the bonnet and the thoughts of adding a Silvia front end to it
