Yup, without navigation system. I use old fashioned stuff like maps and road signs. Besides, everybody has a Droid now, so I can use my passenger's navigation system. I'm not sure if it's beamer or beemer or if it matters, I think it's the pronunciation that is key, and why BMW fanbois care so much is beyond me, heh. Most people around here say beemer and have never heard of a BMW motorcycle.

So you'd take the Benz, without, navigation system? Interesting...
I got my first beemer sometime in '74; a Havana Gold R-75/6. I got a set of Krauser bags and a really Kool custom made seat-to match my really Kool real CoCo mats in my '72 Saab 99e by that time. In '78 I was in a head on smashed (totaled) by a fellow turning left in front of me. I had my headlights on-but didn't help. Luckily I was wearing a Bell Star Magnum helmet because they said I flew over my handle bars and over the whole damn offending car, landed on my helmet and did some flips before I came to rest.

I had both posterior grade and anterior grade amnesia; suffered only a concussion w/some road rash and bruises. Apparently I was in a coma for about 2 hours. It must have been a bizarre scene because one of my witnesses told me my saddle bags popped open and out popped about a half dozen plastic vaginas & penises along with about 100 condoms and assorted other sex objects. I was riding to a halfway house for folks w/schizophrenia where I was to give a class on human sexuality (cool down Stephen...). Thank goodness I was in a coma...

I drove all but the 335i Coupe with the upgraded body kit. I don't drive fast but enjoy the ride. I liked the E550 but the M37 had more options. However, the best gas mileage I read was the I335 but is the smallest of the lot. But a fully loaded M37 is the cheapest and the M46S is about 2K more than the used E550. I like the standard stuff they included in the E550 but I have seen more on the road than the M37. The lot had a M37S but it cost 500 dollars more than the used E550 (the M37S has only 4K miles and the E has almost 13K). The Infinity dealership reported that they will sell me a M37S (used) 2K less that the BMW. But both have the same stuff inside.

Ultimately it's going to be your choice and it depends on your needs!!! Do you have a family? Do you have another bigger vehicle? etc. I didnt know the 335i coupe was so expensive nowadays, goodness gracious... they sure include the $$$ for the free maintenance in the price of the vehicle :frown: If the free maintenance from BMW does not entice you then I'd stick to the M37s (leave the M46s alone unless it's a hybrid, :chuckle:) you'll have more amenities, it's a sport sedan with more room and I imagine parts, labor and preventive maintenance will be cheaper than the Benz, however, I dont know if you're filthty rich and $$$ isnt a factor but if it was me I would surely factor that in. If you like the Benz a lot, you can ask the benz people to give you the pricing for the upcoming maintenance... every service interval for up to 100k miles and if it sounds comparable to Infiniti then have them put it in writing so they dont trick you in the future. Even better ask them for free maintenance to a certain amount of miles and argue BMW's stance on this!!! Good luck man!!!

P.S. I thnk BMWs are due a model change/uplift soon whereas the current Infiniti M37 was just released not too long ago so you might be buying an "old car" already with the Bimmer. Bring this up to BMW (and look it up on the net) and try to get a berry berry gud discount on it man, I'm talking about $5k or $6k... if what I'm thinking is the case, it should be very doable, otherwise stick to the M which will probably be fresh for about 4-5 more years!!!

Actually she thought it was pretty funny, but was mad as hell about me being in the accident. Like it was my fault some sob turning left into me when I'm doing about 40mph down the road-with my light on!!

Anyway, she let me have another one, an R/65 (more like a German crotch rocket), brown color again. But then late in 1980 after our second son was born "she pulled it out from under me (don't get excited here Stephen...);" something about she wasn't going to be a single mother raising x2 sons. In one of my more lucid moments I understood her mandate; then. Now, I'm not so sure.

World's Oldest Man Dies @ 114 in Montana

By MATT VOLZ

updated 4/14/2011 8:34:59 PM ET

GREAT FALLS, Mont.— Walter Breuning's
earliest memories stretched back 111 years,
before home entertainment came with a twist
of the radio dial. They were of his
grandfather's tales of killing Southerners in
the Civil War.

Breuning was 3 and horrified: "I thought that
was a hell of a thing to say."

But the stories stuck, becoming the first
building blocks into what would develop into a
deceptively simple philosophy that Breuning,
the world's oldest man at 114 before he died
Thursday, credited to his longevity.

Here's the world's oldest man's secret to a
long life:

— Embrace change, even when the change
slaps you in the face. ("Every change is good.")

— Eat two meals a day ("That's all you need.")

— Work as long as you can ("That money's
going to come in handy.")

— Help others ("The more you do for others,
the better shape you're in.")

Then there's the hardest part. It's a lesson
Breuning said he learned from his grandfather:
Accept death.

Stephen, your wife tells me you really enjoy your Infiniti wall covering above YOUR headboard, in YOUR room sleeping in your shiny, black, neoprene rubber body suit...

On 12/6/2010 I ordered a set of Michelin LTX M/S2 for my wife's '01 polar ice melting Suburban from the Tirerack. I just got a message that the tires are expected on or around 5/31/2011. So soon?
