Yo, my bro said that there are a couple, if not one, s13 hb's on dyer st. near Fort Bliss. I'll check it out later and give you an address. I live near by.

i would keep the 5.0 if i were you... ive owned 3 240s all kat. my roomate had a 5.0 lx coupe, and my pops had a 4 eyed set up for road race. the four eyed could handle, and stop. on top of that arse loads of torque from the dig. put some sways on that 5.0 and some good suspension, along with a break up grade and have at it. keep the 5.0. ive seen plenty fox bodys tearing it up at drift events. the sr20 is weak when comparing to the 5.0, but thats like comparing apples to oranges.

I know they can handel but it will take like double the money for my notch to handle like a 240 with coilovers.But for sure i will keep my car bro its my first car plus i did the swap my self so there is a lot of personol feeling it used to have a 4 banget with a auto

dude, stop. this is the speak of one whose been listening to people who dont know whats up.its a car, upgrade that s***. because its exactly what youll want to do to the s13.go 5 lug with disc all the way around, maybe even cobra brakes.browse the M/M catalog and they will make your fox handle extremely well. your mustang will do well. also do a gear change.(im thinking you already/should know all this)my cousins 92 fox would put most s13's to shame on any road.s13's are not the end all be all man, neither is the sr20.youre going to seriously miss the torque.

Why not 5.0 swap the 240? That way you have the torque and you obviously know your way around a 5.0. Its doable but not many have done it. Everyone does sr20dets. They are fun and can be pretty quick and fun as hell to drive. The turbo spooling and making the tires spin make up for the low end torque imho.

LOL I actually have not had it to an actual strip yet. Kinda don't see the need until I get the new rear end gears. I don't know what you know about rearend gears but I have 2:56's Which in lamens tearms means slow of the line and has a really fast top end that I never really use. To put it into perspective it has a three speed auto. When I am going flat out I don't shift out of first and into second until 65mph. Even then It still breaks them loose and the back end wiggles around a bit.

Your pics of the engine look great. I wanted to eat off of those headers.

Thanks the headers were expensive thanks for the complement?Yeah in know what you are talking about the gears i have 3.55 and they pull very nice idk if i should go with 3.73 cause is my DD and will soon see highway use

Ill let you know as soon as I get there tom. Unfortunately Im only there till wed. and were going to ruidoso on sunday Nice notch btw! One of my good friends from back home has a pretty sick one too. I was actually pondering about putting a 5.0 into my S14 especially now since my KA died on me...

welcome bro. glad ur into the world of drifting. sr20's are good and all but you will get alot more torque from a ka24. but sr20's are an okay motor to. anyways welcome to nissan hope you enjoy.
