Hey everyone, new members, current members; please introduce yourself and post pictures of your ride. A lot of you have been asking for our own site specific to the newer M37/M56/Q70 so here's your chance to show it off and to welcome new members to the site.

I'll get things started...

I'm Tim from NOVA. I've owned several 240SX, RX7 twin turbo, FX45 (not the 35 lol) and now an M37. I guess I've always leaned toward the Nissan/Infiniti brand. They've always treated me well.

^^Hi Tim!!^^ Nice rides, and thanks for posting up!

My name is Chris, I am from Washington State. I have always been a car guy ever since I can remember. In my earlier days of being an enthusiast, I always leaned towards Mustangs, Camaros, and American V8 muscle.

Now that I have gotten older, I still appreciate brute force and power, but with finesse, refinement, and amenities.

I won't bore you guys with all of the cars I have owned over 34 years of driving; I will just show you the last 10 years:

2005 Dodge Magnum:
Image
I had a lot of fun with this car. Sunk a ton of money & time into it, won a lot of trophies, and met some really cool people along the way.

2006 Chevrolet SSR 6.0L 6 speed:
Image
Fun for awhile, but typical GM build quality; or lack of. Cowl shake was horrible, and with only 18k miles, little parts were starting to fail. I figured it best to get out of it; as it was a discontinued vehicle and I did not want to get into the situation of needing replacement parts that were obsolete. For example: what if the power top failed?

2005 Infiniti M45, Premium Package:
Image
This car started my love affair with Infiniti; it was a great car and will always be thought of fondly. Awesome power, comfortable, felt great to drive and always put a smile on my face.

2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0:
Image
Sounded good on paper, but in actual real life, it is decent; but it is no Infiniti. if Hyundai wants to compete in this arena, they need to step it up with quality materials and better ergonomics.

2000 Dodge Dakota R/T:
Image
Purchased from original owner with 41k miles and bone stock. Original window sticker, bill of sale, sales brochure, and all maintenance records included. I have done a few mods since I have owned it. It is a fun to drive truck, with gobs of torque. I guess it satisfies my desire for American muscle. Sits in the garage most of the time, but I don't think I will ever sell it!

2012 Infiniti M56S:
Image
This car is phenomenal! Every day I drive it, it makes me feel great. It is fast, handles well, and has every amenity you could want. I love the advanced electronics, and the build quality is first class.

Car: Still searching for my first M...

Post

Hi all, my name is Michael and I am in Minnesota. I just purchased my first Infiniti, a Certified (w/wrap to 8yrs/120k mi.) 2011 M56S Obsidian/Graphite with Touring, Tech and Sport packages and Aero kit.

After looking for over two months (after my 2000 BMW 740i Sport was totaled) I finally found this car online last Saturday and sealed the deal immediately, sight unseen, without driving it. :ohno: :woot: The car is in TX and I don't even have it yet! It is being trucked up tomorrow so I should have it late Monday or Tuesday morning. I'm pumped.

I drove just about everything in my search (even an Alpina B7) and I kept coming back to Infiniti. I took it as a sign and finally just bought this (almost perfect) one. I say almost because I really wanted the black headliner, but from all my research it looks like that was not available until 2013. Same with the Sport Package with AWD. So in lieu of spending more money than I had for the exact 2013, I opted to forego AWD and I am inquiring about changing the headliner and everything else above the doors (pillars, sunroof cover, vents, granny handles, etc.) to black, possibly even alcantara or suede overhead. Any tips here would be appreciated.

Here is an iPhoto enhanced picture from the dealers website. I'll post better pictures when I can have a couple photographer friends of mine take them. Too bad it won't be here for Cars and Coffee this Saturday, but there's always June!

Nice rides, thanks for sharing. I like that harbor blue Chris, I don't see that color vary often.
Make sure to post before and after pics Michael. I have the graphite interior with the light headliner. I thought I wanted all black to but I really like the contrast. Best of luck buying site-unseen. I hope it's a great car.

Thanks Tim; I wasn't too sure about the Harbour Blue when I bought it, but it has sure grown on me. Like you said, you don't see it very often. I have not seen another in my area thus far.

Michael & Greg: thanks for posting up; really appreciate the great pics, and the write ups about your cars. :dblthumb:

Sam: post up when you can!

The rest of you: post up! This thread is really fun, and I appreciate getting to know a little more about my fellow forum members. :)

Hey guys. I just bought my 2nd Infiniti (old j30 owner) after being in 3 BMWs in the last 10 years. I looked for a new sedan and the M37 was the perfect choice.

All I've done was add tint and threw on the spoiler. I want to get the sport front bumper, wheels and brakes.

What's going on everyone, I'm Santino but most people call me Sonny. I'm originally from Az but live out in Dover DE for work now. Picked up my 2011 M37X when I first got here last July. Immediately put some Vossen CV-4's on her and lowered her down on Eibach springs. Hasn't settled down to height I would like it to be so now I'm thinking about doing coilovers. Put one JL Audio W-3 in her powered by a JL Audio XD600. Nice clean sound for me, not the world to hear.

How's everyone here. I'm about pick up my new '11 M37 on Saturday. I currently own a '05 G35 sedan 5mt. I'm kinda little nervous of the amount of technology in this vehicle...just cuz of all the software update that I'm going to need to find out about on the various components. Well I'm sort of a nerd when it comes to that so you bet I'm gonna find out everything about that (with alot of help from Google and this community). You be hearing from me... ;)

Hello guys. Securityguy from Northern VA. Just bought a certified preowned M37x from Passport Infiniti in Alexandria, VA. Liquid Platinum with black leather. 22K miles and in mint condition with full service history. So far, over the last three weeks, I have done the following modifications:

1. Infiniti rear spoiler - bought from dealer's parts department for $275 at time of car purchase
2. Custom body side molding (I hate dings and dents)
3. Weathertech custom floor mats (http://www.mats.com)
4. Philips DRL8 daytime running lamps under front bumper
5. LED high powered bright white back-up bulbs
6. LED bright white license plate bulbs
7. All bright white LED lighting throughout the interior (map lights, door lamps, reading lights)
8. Updated NAV software to 2014 (was on sale for $99 with free shipping so couldn't resist)

Love the car and a lot more power than I expected. Wife has a 2012 G37xS and just fell in love with the M. If I can figure out how to post pics I'll provide a few. Looking forward to participating on the forum!

O.k. fellas, here are the pictures I was telling you about. I took these pictures at the local park on a mid morning and had fun taking them, while I was taking these photo's, people would stop and tell me how pretty the car is, enough of that, let's get down to business. I had Andy's Muffler & Exhaust Shop in Snellville, Ga install the Stillen exhaust, Eibach pro kit lowering springs and Vossen CV3's. It took a total of 4 hours from them to do everything. They even gave me a Discount because I'm a Military Veteran which is Cool. They said before the install, the ride would look nice which I already knew, lol. Afterwards they had to test drive the car which is cool and man she looks good rolling. I get a lot of compliments from all types of people telling me how Pretty she looks. She drives and sounds good. I mean good fellas, I am Very happy with this set up. Hopefully, the springs will settle a little bit more, let me know what you think
