Yup. I got mine for $28k. He was wanting my G37 trade in!

Saw one of the Scions the other night. He was revving on me. I wanted to tell him to go pick on someone his own h.p. range.

I swear, if Nissan does this, we should submit a resume for a Juke brand activist position with Nala's credentials and photoshopped ride of the month QX4.
Haha I missed out on most if the nala times, however his memory is preserved through the ROTM and his snowplow engineering feat.

I will orchestrate mass rioting at Nissan dealerships countrywide.

They're friendly, but they need to relax. It's like they're all jacked up on Monster.

That defeats the whole purpose of the car in the first place. You can get a Genesis Coupe 3.8, a Mustang GT, or a base 370Z for that money (with a little negotiation).

God, I can't imagine the markup on that convertible. It'll be $40k at dealer lots.
They'll sell every single vert they build because it occupies a niche for being the cheapest sporty four-seat (assuming it retains the back seat) convertible. Well, aside from the Mustang and Camaro, but people who refuse to buy a domestic car will pay extra for the Scionubaru.

Mustang vert with a V6 starts at $27k.
Camaro vert starts at a staggering $43k.

GM's website says it starts at $31k, or $40k for a V8.

:werd: The personality doesn't always match the stereotype. Except the Vette. Damn near every Vette owner I've ever met (at least here in AZ) has been a douche. That's sad because I hope we own one again one day.

Have you ever seen Formula D, or any professional drift event, for that matter?

Formula D,like twice for a couple of minutes (not cause i got bored, but cause i was somewhere else),but i never saw the vehicle specs, scratch that, let me rephrase that question, how much horsepower does that jag has???,nonono,i know how to ask for it!

isnt anything beyond 400 hp too hard to control on a drift???,cause from what ive been told, the lower the hp,the easier to control!
too much hp and it will spin out,am i wrong?,if so,please enlighten me

and i dont know about y'all,but i drove a 08 g37 a while ago,and for me,300 horses was like being in a bugatti veyron!!!

It's called throttle discipline. Everyone there pretty much uses pumped up LS's.

yeaaa, theres a lot more to it than how much hp you have. Most of the locals use beefy LS engines or JZ engines in their drift-mobiles. As you change you car you must also learn how to control it.

Are you new to all this stuff? Don't worry, I was a n00b when I joined NICO. I've learned everything I know about 240s from NICO and tinkering, and that lead to motorsports. These people are good company!

Welcome aboard by the way!

A lot of people say less hp is easier to control because THEY don't have any control. They don't know how to feather a throttle to keep the @$$ end in check. They just stomp the throttle and let off when they want it to stop sliding. That's not drifting. That's just mashing the throttle really hard and cutting donuts.

:werd: Read and learn. 400 hp from 4 cylinders on 91 octane pump gas. Slides sideways like a dream. :yesnod

i seen about the feather stuff, got to control the throttle so the rear end wont go against you,all the vids ive seen has that problem, they stomp it all the way and end up hitting stuff lol!

am i new to import and performance stuff, not really,i've been drooling over supras, skylines,s chassis rx7's and other imports (except hondas,(minus NSX AND S2000)) since i was 15,today im 22,so i've been sucking all the info i can on all of them for 7 years,so i should be familiar with most stuff!

am i new to driving a proper sports car,YES,the circle of people that surround me happens to be full of soccer/k-pop fanatics, and I'm the only car enthusiast inhere, you know, all of them own..........city cars,so i do not have that much experience behind the wheel, the most i've done is to drive manual, other than that,IM A N00B!

And thanks Mod,seems like i ended up in the right place, since i never drifted before,i've seen how they do it,i just had never done it!!!

V8s are easy mode since they have power on tap.
There's a reason why Formula D teams are switching from inline 4 turbos to V8s.

meh, not for me either, but I just can't get into convertables. It doesn't help that I'm tall and I look like an adult in a kids car when I sit in them.

is it a hard or soft top? guessing soft to keep weight/cost down. It looks good to me.

When you have to raise the raise the decklid so much that it's nearly level with the top of the windshield, it's probably time to rethink your top design.

After seeing that video Bex posted, no thanks. The deck lid being that high makes the car look goofy.
