A guy in my office building has the finest collection of sports cars I've ever seen in real life... He has boasted his collection for years now by acquiring the Ferrari F430, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Murcielago, Lamborghini Gallardo, Maybach, Rolls Royce and many more... I think he has WAY too much money as he gets a new car every month for his collection... he just arrived to work today with the first and only Koenigsegg CCX to hit the United States... it just arrived off the truck last night so he left the window sticker on it for well over $1 MIL! It boasts 800BHP, and a top speed over 245MPH along with a 0-60 just shy of 3 seconds! I felt a chill run up my spine as I came within it's presence... car enthusiasts alike will appreciate this beauty... the growl this thing made when he fired it up sounded like a panther in a wood chipper!

Enjoy the pics!

Okay, that's a really nice example of a great car. But a million bucks? That's about 50k a year in interest. How much to drive one on Sat. night?

Who cares when you have that kind of money? And what would having a wife have anything to do with it?

Yep... $1,005,000.00 to be exact, and that doesn't even include shipping or diapers (Cause I'd need some huggies to drive this thing as I would $hit my pants). These pictures do it no justice as the lighting was horrible... it was TEENY! I'm only 5' 10" and it stood no higher than my nutsack... The carbon fiber lip on the front was maybe 1 inch off the ground... i'll bet he gets sick the first time he "rubs" that carbon fiber on pavement! This car was wall to wall carbon fiber... even the air vents were carbon fiber... the rims were all carbon fiber, the seat belt clasp was carbon fiber... BIG MONEY in that toy.

And by the way... you wouldn't need a wife with his car collection... you'd just pay a team of playboy playmates to feed you grapes and waft you with palm leafs all day...

Your not in the Scottsdale Spectrum Building at Lincoln and Scottsdale road are you?? That garage looks like the garage at my old job...

NICE car.... I used to see a Orange Mclaren F1 there all the time. The gold plated engine compartment is so pretty on the F1!

Au contraire my friend, I am, but with this guys money the conversation would be some thing like:

Wifey: How was your day hon?

Car guy: Oh, not bad, I had lunch with Bill Gates today then we played some golf.

Wifey: That's nice.

Car guy: Oh yeah, and I plunked down a million bucks on a new car. Now put on this Brittany Spears wig and get on all fours

Ah, your point is well taken. You forgot the next line though...

Wifey: My attorney said that I would get half of everything, including half of that car...

With a car like that you don't need nav, because wherever you are, THAT'S the place to be

Amazing car, but is seems like the center console is cheap. Could have designed something sleaker is all I am saying. Love the car though

I agree that the "Phone dial" in the center console is a bit undesirable to the eye, but they serve a very important purpose... if you've ever seen a Mclaren F1 up close, you see all the cockpit knobs and switches that control the fuel pumps, the battery, etc... it looks a lot like a nascar... Christian Von Koenigsegg integrated all of these important features into the "General Igtheamorphic design"... this means that if you need to adjust something at 200MPH then it's easier to locate than a large bank of switches... afterall, most drivers are not pilots...

The doors on this car are my absolute favorite design of any supercar... Lamborghini had such a good idea with the lift doors, but Koenigsegg took it a step further with their "Dyheadral cross-actuation scissor doors"...

I know this is a G forum, so I'll stop boasting the Koenigsegg, but it was just a treat to see this in life as I've lusted for it ever since it was released... MY DREAM CAR to say the least...

Couple of good videos on the "Egg" ENJOY!
