I realize the in rad cooler acts as a heater but the B&M super cooler has a viscosity controlled bypass system that routes the fluid straight through instead of through the stacked plates until the temp is up.
Although at this point I think I will put the OEM back in the loop.
After I pulled the original TPS I compared Ohm readings with the replacement and there was a noticeable difference between closed readings and wide open readings.
The replacement TPS was dead on specs per the FSM.

Thanks for the pic JD !!
That's the one section I didn't look through.

I ordered it from Rockauto .
It seems to shift right where it should now.
Not sure what you mean by the kick down switch adjustment.
I don't have it floored at 60 MPH. :)

Don't know how much pedal pressure it should take to activate the kick-down switch, but if the switch was too sensitive... Just a thought. Best of luck.

Out of curiosity I just went out and checked. :)
Dang its hot !!!
The audible click of the kickdown switch is at the end of pedal travel.
But you have me thinking.
As the TPS is a simple potentiometer that will wear and have "Static" at certain points.
Anybody near my age can relate to the Volume knob on the stereo crackling :lolling:
What if the kickdown switch is flaking out ...
More than once Ive noticed the lockup disengage when I hit a bump.

The mind wanders.
