saw this over at northwest nissans, i love how those guys were talking **** but didn't know enough to know that there was speed limiter on your transmission so you couldn't even go past second gear.

anyways, your car is awesome man, i haven't heard of your shop before this thread but i am more impressed with your shop based on this thread, than i am with any other shop in our area even though i've heard tons of praise about them.

knowledge and innovation is much better than droppin' an SR into every 240 around, know what i mean?

do you guys also do tuning?

i was wondering what happened to VR's 240. thats badass. putting a ls1 into a 240 used to be weird to me but. u have changed my thoughts on this. very nice. expensive but you get beter bang for buck with the ls1 it seems.

You can always see a lot of quality hard labor time from a job like this. Excellent jobAlso, did you have to modify the firewall, how about the transmission. how did you get it to fit? If it wouldn't be any trouble, could you post a picture that is taken to see how low to the ground the motor is. basically just needed to see a ground clearance picture. Howmuch was the car lowered.

thanx everybody! yeah i had a great time in june 11th, i found out that i was running 12 kg front springs and 9kg in the rear, we swapped those out to 9/7 and we'll be trying that in the next event. i had problems with transitions, but that should be better now.

yeah nwn and i don't have the best relationship, but oh well, nico's pretty bad ***. yeah the limiter really sucked butt, but that's why it was a shakedown, o the event before, i made sure everyone knew that, but apparently some didn't, oh well, i have come to just go with it, i mean a car like this does get haters too. sad, but i love all cars really, i still have a soft spot for a full kouki type x.

the total cost was about 8-9k i lost track haha. it was spendy because i went with a beefed up engine.

ahh the transmission tunnel got it a bit, i beat it up a bit with the sledge hammer, but really, not very bad at all, i didnt have to cut it out or anything.

i did modify the crossmember, i lowered it 2" to make way for the oil pan and steering clearance. You don't have to do that, i did b/c of the dry sump pan is flat, the new GTO pan has a rear hump, so the crossmember fits perfect with a little notch.

umm i can't seem to find my camera but i'll take a pic when i do. it did sacrifice some claerance, but if you go with the GTO oil pan, then there's no change at all. my car runs not super low, but kinda low. i leave it up a bit so the shocks can work nice, too low and the shocks dont do anything. yeah i'll get a picture when i find the camera.

That is freaking awesome. Quick question. Was it neccesary to cut the rear quarters out like that?

thanx!

i think that it's a true wide body car, and it got rid of more weight, and any wheel clearance issues of them rubbing the well what would of been the inner fender. I see alot of people just rolling the fenders and putting these over and it just doesn't seem right, if you r gonna roll it, i'd just leave it, i like rolled fenders too. =)

I know this is an ancient thread.. but i am trying to find out more about the fuel cell setup.... i want to buy one... getting tube work done front and rear...

always liked this car but i cant seem to find the exact details on the rear fuel setup...

The car still has a KA NA, but will be going next year to VQ or LS1 setup.... so around 400whp~ but to be safe 500whp...

If you can respond to me that would be fantastic...
