I dunno Blake I like the CF look and having both my hood and trunk lid carbon fiber and the roof black was the look I was going for.

**UPDATE**
But for all of you guys interested, I spoke to my contact in AIT today and he told me that he could make this lid in fiberglass but it will be a little heavier than the CF (as expected) The price will depend on how many people would be interested in getting this product both in CF and FG. Shipping to the continental 48 states would be $170 but keep in mind this box is HUGE! When I got it, it was delivered on a 53' trailer and the box itself was 2'x2.5'x6'! So the more people who get on on this the product price will be lower. There are things that need to happen in the NICO background in order for this to get off the ground but in the mean time I will start an interest thread to gauge the number of people who seriously wants this for their coupes. :yesnod

The only thing that I ever disliked about your car was the G35 spoiler. That ish looks amazing Darryl. :mike :mike

seriously, no BS... Dangeris' car is just plain sexy.... also, Dangeris i vote that you not even consider painting that CF trunk... the flow from the front to the rear , including the black in the stillen fascia ... is just..... umm... perfect! Great phucking job on your coupe Dangeris! Seeing your cr in person is worth what i had to sacrifice to go to Carlisle

I didn't mean to just paint to trunk, I meant to paint all of it. I guess its just a personal vendetta of mine, But I just plain dislike unpainted carbon fiber. Just a personal opinion though.

I see Blake's point. I've seen a couple of cars, BMWs, 350Z and 370Z that have the CF spoiler and they get everything painted except the underside of it. Pretty slick I think.

Sorry Darryl. Didn't mean to rain on your parade. I was more or less offering an opinion on the idea of getting it all color matched :) Go with it though, your coupe stands out and looks good, that's for sure :)

no apologies needed Blake. In no time did I think your opinion was raining on my "parade". That's what I love about NICO, different members bringing to the table their own ideas and thoughts. At times they are great and sometimes they're horrible. But nonetheless, they are valuable. I toyed with the idea of color matching it but like you pointed out, I wanted a look that separates me from the crowd, especially at car shows. :chuckle:

Fantastic looking trunk lid. If I were you though, D, I'd add some of your Code Red into the hood and trunk lid to give the CF a bit more accented look... such as painting the hood Code Red everywhere except the vents, leaving those CF, and with the trunk, something creative that'd leave the CF on the trunk lip exposed somewhere. It'd look super integrated and classy then. Just my 2 cents.
