THE Carlisle 2011 Thread 5/14-5/15

If timing permits, I was hoping to stop by here http://www.abcbrew.com/gettysburg/brewpub.htm for lunch and maybe fill up a growler. I'm still planning to get to Market Cross, the brewery in/near Carlisle.

I'm down for either/both of these options. Love me some microbrew!

I think abc in Gettysburg is a bit out of the way for you, they have a much closer to Carlisle one in Harrisburg, that you'll probably have to drive through on your way over from Jersey. PA has some awesome microbrews. Feb of this year I went to 9 or 10 of them over the course of 2 weekends...yum for discoveries like Vanilla Latte Stout.

Market Cross we'll def do on Saturday afternoon as a break from the track fun. I've yet to be able to spend a full day out at the fairgrounds and I doubt this year will be any different. Plus, the food would be much better elsewhere.

The only brewery I've been to in PA is barley creek near camelback. It was ehhhh. We stop there on the way back from great brew of America beer fest.

when I went to Droptoberfest I had 5 long islands, plus a shot of something in 30 minutes cause I got there so late, and I legit couldnt see when I was walking out of the bar..... everyone was like walk straight... walk straight there are cops..... haha

hahahahh Brett.. wen she put the shot of bacarti limon in it fills the stem and then i add a lime to so i think it overflowed after i turned it over... so had to give it the two hander... ahahhah or i was drunk at this point... remebr i blacked out that night... n im deff drinkin these there.. so who ever wants hit up my room ill have em! Also, I'll have my helmet with me, but I don't think my Trans Am will be track ready; still undergoing resto. That, and theres more and more and more regulation for a 'vert on the Carlisle track so it looks like the Miata won't be allowed on... ::angryface::
