Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others)--Cool film about post WWII East Germany. It actually has a nice ending.
High Plains Drifter--It really weirds me out, but for some reason I kinda like it.
Moon--Just awesome.
Love the Beast--Since everyone here enjoys cars.
Fired Up--I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be hilarious. Watch it if you liked Dodgeball.
Pan's Labyrinth--I know it was pretty popular, but I still think it's worth mentioning if only for the visuals.
2001 a Space Odyssey--If nothing else, just watch it for the experience.
City of God--Pretty serious stuff, but it's an excellent film.
Appaloosa--It didn't seem terrible, so I went to see it with my dad because he loves westerns. Turned out to be really good.
Terminator 1 or 2--Watch it and giggle at the giant grandfather paradox. I think the sequel is better.
El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico--Some nice, shoot 'em up fun.
The Shawshank Redemption--This is seriously one of my all-time favorites.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure I'll come up with more when I'm not trying to.
