Having received my lights from Brandon, I have been very quiet on this forum, mostly because everything that has been going on here is just plain wrong and un-professional.

My opinion is this... Brandon does good work on the lights, and is doing everything he can to correct all the small problems that have come up. However if you are looking for a show car i would not recommend Brandon's work as it does seem a bit mom and pop-ish. His seals are not great, and I had some issues which will not be mentioned here since brandon is going to take care of it. From the outside a few feet away they look fantastic, Light output is pretty good too (but that could be a result of my HID kit, not having to do with the projectors).

Well I have to say that the larger angel eyes are definitely better and brighter than the thin ones.

Bina, when are you going to post your comments?

I never even saw this thread because I was on my aircraft carrier. Looks like I screwed up the whole GB thing. It was my understanding GB's could happen if the approved sponsor contacts the staff about it first. I posted this in the Mod forum before it happened as well. Oh well, looks like that changed.

Hey Guys, I just wanna say real quick that it's been great being on here but due to the event that occured to my vehicle, I will no longer be on the forum. If you all didn't hear, my car caught fire a couple nights ago at my gas station while it was running/warming up at night before I left work. I don't know what the cause of the fire is but I really, really do hope it had nothing to do with the projector lights. Here are a couple pics of the car. As you all can see, the front of the car was completly distroyed and the car is totaled. I guess all I can say is......."it was great while it lasted"

no the car was not being filled up....the car was just on, warming up because it's damn cold here. I went to the bathroom, then started to mop the floors and next thing I know I see flames coming up from underneath the front left side of the hood. Pics are fixed also

I'm sorry Brandon, but those are the 2.5 altimas that have that problem with the cat converter....I have the 3.5. There has not been any fire problems with the 3.5 reported yet.

Dom do you really think the headlights caused the fire? you are using factory hid kit right?

mcheddadi pics are up....look at my original post.

brandon, there is not recalls on the 08, the issue with the 07's were resolved. The insurance co looked to see if there has been any reported fires due to a manufacturer defect, none reported. I'm not blaming the work that you did but I will know for sure once the investigation is complete and hope and pray it's not cause of the wiring because that will void my claim and I will be out over $23k and out a car.

X2 Sorry to hear and see that! Seeing these pics of ONLY the front end burning to cinders is making me freakin' nervous now!

Dom, Is there going to be some kind of investigation to determine how the fire started?

No, I have the McCulloch HID's which I have never had a problem with. I have had them in all of my previous cars and I have them in a couple friends cars and have had no problems with them.

are you using a relay kit with the hid set? have you contacted them yet about what happened? the only wire you have run off of the headlights is there hid kit. and a 12volt wire for the parking lights?

The fire origingated on the front of the car and pretty much stayed containg to the front. It did though go through the fire wall (the fire tracked along the main wire harness for the dash cluster) but the f/d smashed the driver window and windshield and doused the inside of the car with water. With that went my kenwood navi and my valentine one :-( I'm off to work for now guys...I'll TTYL.
