Hey guys, my temp gauge is not working, anyone know if this is the correct sensor and what is the part number, or USDM Nissan that uses one like it?

Just use the gauge sender from a KA of the same year as your chassis. If you still have your stock motor laying around, you can pull the one off that.

You are pointing to the dual pin sensor for the ECU. You want the single pin sensor for the gauge cluster that is right next to the ECU sensor in the pic.

The top sensor is the temp gauge sensor for the dash gauge, the bottom one is the temp sensor for the ECU (the car's computer). They are different. Ask for the Dash gauge sensor, print off pics to bring in to them if they don't know what you're talking about. Go ahead and replace them both anyways, cheap and the ECU one needs to work right or it throws a lot of things off.

So the top pic is # 9 in the schematic, and bottom one is #8 ?

Yep. I meant to print out the pics you copied from FRsport though. So the parts guy can actually see a decent size pic of the parts

Yeah I did that, and he had no clue, we tried many different cars, 240sx, 300z, bla bla bla, always came up with the picture of the bottom sensor. So he told me I need a part# not just a picture. So I just went ahead and ordered the one on FRSport. I will probably get the ECU temp sensor from a local parts store.
