Oh I used to live in Santa Monica/West LA too. So you gonna put just the muffler or you will custom pipe the whole exhaust??

Q45 are duals all the way. Very tough to improve performance, easy to make loud.

I remember Venus (Venice). What a zoo.

yeah I want to get a muffler to make it looks nicer but I dont want to make it too loud. All my other cars except the Q are way too loud and I am enjoying driving the Q without a lot of noise so I dont want to make a lot of noise by changing the muffler of the Q.

That's why I'm leaving it to just a muffler, the exhaust looks pretty damn nice when I was under there, not much to improve on. Magnaflows have a great sound, deep, mellow and throaty.

Definitely!! And since you're so close by, you should go to the next Junction Produce meet with us at Super Autobacs. People are pretty cool, and since the VIP Style scene is just getting off the ground in America, it's still in it's infancy. I also still go to Honda Club Si meet's (many of us no longer have Honda's) like 1-2 times a month, usually about 20 cars and boba drinks! Feel free to AIM or eMail me through my profile link.

Okay, this thread has gotten too long, two questions. One, any rubbing, two did you change shocks. I though you said you didn't. If not why not and did you find any options for Aftermarket??? Thinking of doing this to my 97.

No rubbing whatsoever.

Stock shocks, rides suprisingly good, a little bouncy, but OK to ride on for a few months. Saturday night, I got pretty smashed at a show in Malibu, so my wife drove home, I almost love being a passanger as much as driving my baby.

The only aftermarket I've found are on Yahoo! Japan auctions. I will have a set of those next month, they're called SR Special, made by KYB.

The reason I didn't do it all at once, is $$. It was enough to get the car to begin with, and since then I've spent money on tint, JDM grille, 2 secondary O2 sensors, a new alternator, air filter and cabin air filters all since I got it only about 5 months ago. I wish I could afford to do everything at once, but as always in project cars, step by step.

And yes, BOBA is awesome!!!

Thanks for the info, i sent you an e-mail I hope you get it. I want to find out more about how you got those and also if we can buddy up on some springs. We have the same car and I'm drooling over the way yours looks right now with those big gaps done. BTW, where in SoCal do you live?

And make me keep mine! I'd been considering trading it on an SUV for the new family. Lucky for me I can't trade it without getting raped b/c of the mileage. So I guess the new wife will just have to let me keep it. It'll be worth when I pay it off next year anyway.
