dennis,

Thanks, very informative actually. One would think that a stiffer sprung car would result in more rattles, but yours is another testament to quality means "better" in general. I knew a guy who owned a Jetta III VR6 with H&R coilovers. That car rode quiet as a mouse compared to my [at the time] stock Jetta VR6. Once, he took me for a spin. Seeing the fringe benefits of a good suspension setup was a plus added to what he was highlighting during this ride. He wanted to show me the turbo system he was making at work. And while we flew up and down the streets happy as little girls in mommies heels, we drove over some train tracks -this was years ago and to stay as a permanent memory within me says something- I barely could tell we had just gone over a set of tracks. The tracks didn't feel like tracks. They felt more like small imperfections in the road. So needless to say, the coilovers made the car stiff, but the quality of ride was much better than would be expected from very stiff suspension.

Thanks

I have a similar experience with my friends HAs on his RX-7. They make the car stiff where it counts, but otherwise very driveable, and just more responsive and sensitive to driver input. It goes where you point it, and the quality fo the ride is not harsher than usual, but when you push it, the car will do what you tell it to, within it's abilities.

The He's feel a little bouncy i adjusted the damping to 12 front and 10 back, only the front feels a bit jumpy, just a bit, they respond quickand very stiff, is this suppose to be like this or should there be another way for me to adjust the damping. Thanks

Glad I saw this thread.. I was deciding between the DA's and HE's, and I tihnk I'm gonna go with the HE's now~

By the way.. exactly how easy is it to adjust the dampening levels?
