They do more than just drop the car. They stiffen up the suspension and lower the car plenty. Price 200 compared to 800. Im driving on the high way most of the time, not a track. Waiting is silly...HuyyNguyen wrote:depending on price..i would DEFINITELY!! >:OOOOOO!!!!!! I don't want to buy drop springs =(( but if it takes this long i might have to =/...I've been waiting too too long without a drop ;D
I feel mean. For this reason, I have told fat friends of mine that I cant drive them homedldjros69 wrote:

On a side note, any stiffer or lower and your gonna have trouble. I took 3 people besides my self to Mid evil nights right next to the "NJ" Giants stadium. It was about an hour and a half drive. I had a fat couple in my back seat. Low and bumpy, low and bumby...
I know that.. I just don't want my shocks to wear out so quickly such as changing them to just drop springs alone..and coilovers can give a way better ride with adjustmentsdldjros69 wrote:

^^Smart lady... Early bird gets the worm on this...jaxcoupe wrote:I would love Tein coilovers on my car. However, there has been so much TALK about them the past year or so and hardly any action. They should have come out with them a long time ago, my bet is that a lot of people on this forum would have jumped on them due to their reputation and the desire for a lower, tighter ride. But now Loop is about to get the new coilovers coming out from BC Racing, and if he gives a good review, my guess is that the people with a high interest in coilovers (and the bank account to finance them) will probably get those.. especially when it isn't even certain whether we'll have a Tein option anytime soon, if at all.

well you can adjust them to your liking which means a even stiffer better ride and you won't have to go into the hassle of changing out broken shocks so soon because springs can give it to wear soonerDAAN. wrote:what huge advantages are there to coilovers to justify the 4x price of lowering springs ?
Ill start there, daan hit the nail on the head. Are you tracking this car... Prolly not. The car looks like crap with the 4 inch wheel gap.DAAN. wrote:what huge advantages are there to coilovers to justify the 4x price of lowering springs ?
This is pure nonsense. How fast do you think these springs are going to take to wear out the struts? 10 to 20 % sooner if that. Even if you had to replace the struts once, u would still have way more money left over.HuyyNguyen wrote:you won't have to go into the hassle of changing out broken shocks so soon because springs can give it to wear sooner
agreed.Beatrice wrote:I'd get some for the right price
Here is why. Tein always gave the same answer but in different wording when I emailed them. It didn't matter if it was way back in 2007 or till now. They just gave the same utter crap response.nismofool wrote:I see many have lost patience, but hopefully, when the product does get here, it meets expectation and delivers.

I agree with all of the statements that dldjros69 has made here. 98% of all of the cars on here are daily drivers, so for them, its pretty much just an expensive way to lower your car/ bragging rights IMO.dldjros69 wrote:

The springs are progressive, they arent super stiff, under normal driving the wear is maybe 5% or less wear than normal.
To all that still drive a 4 by 4 altima waiting for coil overs
same here man....but um we'll see if they really do make them this time.Loop wrote:
