Sorry for the delay guys, but I just didn't have any information and I didn't want to post anything until I knew for sure.
I received my ECU back from Technosquare, but apparently, our cars don't like not having an ECU plugged in for 2+ months. Technosquare tells me that the Body Control Module (BCM) clears the immobilizer data (NATS) stored to properly communicate with our key fobs (damn that push button start!... it IS pretty sick though) if either the battery or more obviously, the ECU is unplugged for too long.
My car won't start right now, so you'll have to wait until next week when I can finally personally get involved and take the car to a dealer to have the immobilizer data reprogrammed for any more details. It sucks that I have to pay to get my car towed to a dealer and then pay some more to reprogram my keys, but such is the life of a R&D donor, I guess.
And for those of you considering this upgrade, you WILL NOT experience this problem, so don't worry about having to get your keys reprogrammed, as you most likely will get your ECU flashed and sent back to you in a matter of days since all the hard work is already done. It's just the guinea pig that suffers because they had to download all the data and decrypt it, or whatever it is that they do.
Also, it's taken this long for Technosquare to finish our flashes because they've been working on other projects, namely the G37 and the 370Z. There's a much bigger market out there for those cars than ours, so don't poop on Technosquare too much. You have to remember that businesses are in it to make money.
As for the tune, I've asked for more specific details. I'm probably going to go down there and get my car dynoed sometime in the next couple weeks, so you guys can see charts and numbers. My car is purposely completely stock right now (including wheels and tires, but not for long!) so that the hp/tq gains will be as accurate as possible. I'll also ask about whether the default tune will work with any kind of engine mods or if a custom tune is necessary.
I think that's pretty much it. I'll keep you posted in the next couple of weeks for concrete information, numbers, pricing, and impressions.
