The final drive is 3.46 I believe? and will give you a better chance at traction.

And that is the ultimate goal of the project, to have a better chance at traction

5 bolt one would be weaker. Remember, when two surfaces are bolted together, it becomes the friction loading of the two surfaces that is the major force which needs to be overcome for anything to break. Thus the one with more bolts would offer a higher friction loading.

i aint that keen on traction most people drive cars that keep traction its not that much fun get my drift. i thought my nick would have givin me away. weird when you think about it isnt it.

Who cares about other people's goals, you have a twin turbo VH powered Silvia. Yes the GT28 or 3071 both have standard T3 flanges so if there are RB20 turbos on it now they should bolt up. You'll need external wastegates unless you get them internally gate of course and you might need to re-do the downpipes.
