are these To4B, to4E and to4S not compressor housings... The wheels you use in those certain comp. housings are what make the difference, is this correct? I know the to4B is junk...

I have used a To4E (4" inlet) w/56trim comp wheel, 76trim hot with a hybrid turbine housing (ported 7cm mitsu).

I agree with Redliner, with all the different settups you can use, swap and rebuild with a T3/T4... I think thats probably the best way to go. I think a To4S 60-1, stage 3 .82 would be one killer turbo for that motor.

Quote »TO4B belongs in the scarp bin..its had its day.. time to moveon.TO4E not a bad wheel, but there are better.. only a option if its cheap enough.TO4S MODERN wheel design that size for size against the others makes more power[/quote]

This is what confuses me... the T04E is not a specific wheel  Do you mean that any wheel that is native to that housing is ok?

You have to match a wheel to a engine, to a housing, to a driving style/power band.. and then keep in in the appropriate series of wheel/housing.

A TD05/6 exh at 7cm is MILES too small
