I like the idea of the DD's because they are only for 240's. But SS-II's look real nice too.. I just wonder if the DD's is only good for drifting and not anything else. If so then I would rather get the more all around performer like SS's.

Yes im building it for drift! I dont know the way i see it for my interest i guess its best to get the Tein HE, for $1050, because if get the Silkroads for $1350, might as well spend extra $150 and get Tanabe DD for $1500. but when you add it up its $500 which can go towards other parts. I dont know i have about 2 weeks to decide. What you guys think?

yea but see the thing i dont wanna spend $1500 or more id rather spend $1100 and get very good ones instead of perfect drift coilovers, besides im not a professional drifter so for me personally I dont think it will matter THAT much, at least thats what I think. And the only thing is, with JDM coilovers they dont offer warranty, so once your **** breaks , youre out of luck.

NISSAN S14: What type of negative feedback was given about the HE's. I've read (read only, i don't own them) that if you set them on full soft at a reasonable ride height, they're not really uncomfortable at all. The person(s) who blew theirs out on a pothole, we're they drifting and hit a pot hole? Was it just street driving? Does anyone actually have these and if so, what are the +/- of them. I've heard mostly positive things about them, the only bad thing i have heard was that they being played out ...whatever that means.

if you set them soft, then what is the point of coilovers, and theyre preset for drifting, besides if you change them, then you are most likely going to bottom out with incorrect setting unless you REALLY know what youre doing. Ive got some negtive feedback from http://www.dgtrials.com you can go there and search the forums. To be honest for the price you just cant go wrong. Even if they blow you can still send them to tein for repair, unlike JDM coilovers you would Sheat of out luck!

What do you guys think about the 800$ Teins that are the same as the HE's but they dont have as many ways of adjustibility?

For 1200 I'd rather get Sustec Pro SS-II.
