I dont know why you would say that, because SS-II are no where near the comparison to Tein HE. 1. They use a different piston, 2. Spring Rate is different tein has 8-6 and tanabe has 6-4, Tein has an upper pillow ball mount included and tanabe doesn't. If you want Tanabe then you might save up for the DD's.

P.S. I can get you the Tanabe Type SS-II for $1075 shipped. Im actually an authorized dealer for tanabe parts.

When i said that The HE's could be set to full soft, i meant for daily driving when your not on a course. That way the ride isn't going to kill your spine when you drive to work or to the store. The when you go to the track they can set as stiff as you like.

I love my silkroads. They can be set comfortable on the street, and super stiff for track days. I was also looking at ss-II's but for 1100, plus the extra 300 for the rear pillowball mounts/ front camber plates, it equaled out to the price of the silkroads, which in my opinion are a much better quality piece, and already come with everything.

They dont make the RR for the s13 or s14 or any 240sx. Actually the closest thing they have is the DD, but all orders are now pre-ordered for june, next shipment might be by end of july. But if you would be interested i can get the DD's for $1,699 shipped.

Not exactly, DG is a authorized dealer for silkorad, if they need to be rebuilt, though, they have to be sent to japan to be done. same as if you bought HKS, Cusco, or Tien. (unless they started doing rebuilds in the us, i'm not sure)

Hey Nissan S-14, did you ever get the HE's? If so what do you think? How do they perform when pushed hard as well as daily driving.
