i feel the same way!!! everytime i race my friend's SRT-4 and some other cars, ill be winning and then as soon as i hit around 115 or 120, i see them zoom past me. i heard that on the 02-06 Altima's that after 110 MPH the computer only allows the throttle to open 80%. you can have your foot all the way on the gas and it'll just be like having it 80% down. don't know if its true or not but thats what i heardII Knucklez II wrote:i cant get by 130 but i notice that it starts slowing down at 115 to 120
Some people need a life-altering event before they understand.TheBourneAltimatum wrote:i stopped speeding after i got my second ticket a month ago. speeding is fun, but its not worth paying $319 plus the sky rising of my already high insurance rates. plus if you are an unexperienced driver you could kill somebody

You get a ticket at those speeds you'll probably lose your license for a year, not to mention the cost of fines, and car impounded.
You have an accident, and someone else dies, you'll be in prison for manslaughter.
Here's some good advice: Get your thrills under 100mph or go to the track.
Even 100mph is too much for some drivers.GreyZone wrote:Reality check:

Here in Virginia any speed 80 or more is $1000 fine...SHIFT_2.5S wrote: Even 100mph is too much for some drivers.
WTF?!!! the speed limit on the hwy over here is either 65 or 70 and ive seen some hwys say 75 even. on i-5 in sacramento, people will tail gate you and flash you with high beams if you drive under 80 mph. Virginia sucks for that one.fayceoff wrote:

really? i heard over 100 MPH and you get your car impounded. maybe it's different in So Cal cuz of all the racing over there. they got really strickt down there, like they crush your car if it's modified with ANY stolen parts or parts that you can't prove you bought. Nor Cal doesn't really care much, i mean hwy patrol will be gay every once in a while and randomly ticket people on i-5 since the speed limit is 70 and EVERYONE does 80. Elk Grove is really lay back about speeding. i've heard stories of cops racing people (not sure if they're true or not) and i've seen to cops race each other loljohnny_d wrote:over 90mph in OC and your car is impounded and you arrested
I guess I just have to be happy that they won't take my car and have it crushed... http://www.happyhighways.com/i....htmlHussain wrote:WTF?!!! Virginia sucks for that one.
