To the OP:

As you can see, the vast majority (somewhere in the 95-99% range) absolutely do not care for these lights. However, that is merely opinion, just as you seem to like them. For the most part, you'll have to take it with a grain of salt. If they make you happy, then I won't knock you. Conversely, I won't be jumping up and down with joy if you get them either. I think they're possibly worse than some cross-model/cross-brand tail light conversions I've seen (Skyline tails, Supra tails, etc). But whatever, it's your car and your money.

I don't necessarily agree with the derogatory comments made here. No, the whole forum is not against you, and you are not unwelcome here. However, there are sometimes occasions when some of the members here are quite zealous in voicing (or typing, as it were) their disapproval of something. So don't take it too hard. Just know that it's likely your taste in cars will not be among the most popular here.

Rice!! Yep, that's exactly what they are, I can spot that from a mile away. Hell, I can HEAR it coming from a mile away.

You can find it all over the place man, it's in most every town, no matter how small, mainly where you find large gatherings of very loud, glowing honda's. Speaking of rice. Here is a pic of what got me first interested in the strawberry face a couple of years ago. I held out on doing anything to my car just because I am that type of person. Now that I look at this car again, even it is a bit too rice for my tastes. It still looks a lot better than most, but still... a bit too rice.

You know it really amazes me how many people on this site have such a narrow, dogmatic views of what and how a 240sx should look like. If you like your car stock looking that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion, but because someone wants to make his her car look different than yours and all the rest, give em credit for that. This forum is about the exchange of ideas and knowledge not about how much a of guru you are on what a tyte 240sx is supposed to look like according to your ideas. It makes me laugh when everyone says rice this rice that, you're all driving owning rice mobiles to begin with, c'mon grow up! In my opinion (and I own a Zenki), the rear end of the S14 is not it's most virtuous characteristic, particularly the tail lights. The truth is they are quite plain and boring looking. While I don't like the center panel of the Altezza rears with the large reverse lights the outters do have merrit. Now if they would make a version with LED's, I'd be all over that.

One other thing, I don't understand why you all want to bash ebay, Koukichick I am surpprised at you, to imply or suggest that everything on ebay is cheap **** as you say is simply unfair, untrue and ironically naive. You go around expousing you're proud you haven't bought anything on ebay, but the reality is you can get excelllent quality products on ebay for a great price if you shop intelligently. Of course you can get cheap **** product on ebay but you can also get cheap **** at Sears or Walmart too. Don't tell me Koyo, Nismo, Garret, Momo, Greddy, Work, Kazama, URAS, VIS, Cusco, ARC and hundreds of other manufactures make cheap **** products that are being sold on Ebay.

And I think when people speak about "ebay products," they typically mean all the generic knockoff crap such as SSAC and all its oddly named aliases/distributors. Everyone knows some quality stuff changes hands via eBay, but all that cheap knockoff crap really is an affliction upon the enthusiast community.

Oh wait, I can hear it now -- "no waiz dude, i gotz there exhaust and fmic and they rock!" Well congrats a$$, you've paid for fartcan that will lose almost all of it's muffling ability in about a year when all the fiberglass settles to the bottom. And as for the FMIC's; I guarantee you they are nowhere near the quality of brand name units. I've ran both good and cheap FMIC's and there's really no comparison as far as cooling abilities and pressure drop. Just because the fartcan and fmic fit, are shiny and have decent-looking welds doesn't mean they're worth spending money on. Anyone who puts knockoff suspension on their car gets a roflhaus aswell.

No need to preach the wonders of eBay to me; I have a pile of pretty rare and mostly old school Nismo and HKS parts sitting my garage right now I've spent a couple grand acquiring over time when the deals pop up on teh eBay.

I think these Ebay lights actually look alright, or maybe it's just because they go well with the color scheme of the car.They'd probably look good if the silver inside was painted black, too bad they have the huge circles for reverse lights just like the other ones.
