Ok well i got my first ticket in my second s13 that I've owned for 1 1/2 years! In a way it feels like this is Sheryl's (my car) "welcome to the family" greeting!

So the cop also said i have an "illegal front plate" and i was too low? Don't people put crazy front plates all the time? I also have illegal tinting, no front turn signals, no reverse lights, and a Little Caesars doll dragging from my tow hook. I was destined to be pulled over for something. Well Now for the question. How do i go about checking the tail lights? They work fine every once in a while. Also my right blinker blinks fast but i think it blinks normally when my tails work. My front turn signals are disconnected. Any ideas? I need this solved before 1:30 and its 12:30 right now

Im not sure about the tail lights, seems there a loose connection in the wiring.
If there are no bulbs in the front signals or the bulbs are blown then your turn signals will blink fast.

But wouldn't that mean both turn signals would blink fast? Only one does. Ive always been a fan of your coupe btw.

On another note, Adding useless B.S. to the car ("drift charms"), or whatever is just another reason a cop will pull you over.
If a cop wants to pull you over he/she WILL pull you over. My two cents on that lol.

Ohh, hmm seems like a wiring problem, My friends hatch is the same way. So he doesn't have bulbs in the front turn signals.
Thank you sir ^_^!

the reason we didn't get s13 silvia fronts here was because of the height of the headlights. legally, your car's headlights have to be at a certain height. depending on your state's plate laws, you may be legally required to run a dmv issued plate on your front bumper at all times. if your front signals are disconnected, your rears will blink fast. want to check your tail lights? back up to a wall and look in the mirror to see if everything is functioning correctly. that is if you can't find someone to stand back there and tell you. i can't say anything about the tints, tow hook toy, plate (i don't have a tow hook toy, but my tints are illegal and i don't run a front plate when i should be), but you shouldn't be driving around without all your lights functioning. that's not safe for you or anyone else driving.

Sweet man, typically the brake light problems is caused by a failing brake light switch. Go to the dealer to get this IMO because most of the aftermarket ones IE auto parts store brands actually are made with plastic internal parts and fail somewhat quickly.

Also did the cop tell you that the car was too low? Did they ticket you for it? If they did then you win.

Of course. I know I'm not but i didn't know they weren't working. Since they work every once in a while, the last time i checked them was the day i checked all the fuses and grounds. So i thought they were working fine until this happened. The front turn signals will work soon once i find out how to wire these up (not oem) and my reverse lights will be fixed with a reverse light similar to the r34 reverse light.

Alright thanks! Ill check that out. Im not in a hurry anymore since she found another ride. And no but i think i almost did lol. He walked to the front of my car, then bent down and looked at the side of my car and tried to put his foot under my side skirt. Which im sure it didn't haha. Maybe he was unsure if i can get ticketed for that. Not all police officers know all the laws.
