I've spoken to that place before. The only thing is their selection is very limited, especially if you're concerned with the quality of the wheel. If you're like me where every dollar counts, for tires check out Falken FK-452's. I've heard some good things about it for it being a "budge" tire. The only concern is that it's a summer tire, not an all season. If you have a set of winters like me, then it won't matter anyways tho

Even though you didn't notice much of a difference on your grounding kit, I've read nothing but praise about Sentinel's... and that's why I think I'm going to take the dive soon

As for the ticket, dispute it and plead guilty, they'll lower your fine as long as you give them a decent reason (ie. You're in school, or strapped for cash or something)

yeah they sent me an email with some rims and tires combo they could give me for my price range, i only have 5 to choose from. but fortunately i really like one in particular. I kinda figured i'd have to go the winter tire route this year, last year was a bit of a nightmare with my stockers.

I didn't get a chance to meet up with racingline yesterday, but i'll be seeing him on friday and i'll let u know about that price.

as for my ticket, can't really make any kind of excuse, i work full time and don't have much debt, plust i was going 137 in a 90 zone in Banff... don't really feel like driving 8 hours to go to court gonna have to suck this one up and pay the fine for doin the crime

yeah things are always overpriced around here when it comes to cars.

sorry can't help you with a decent paint shop, i have no connections with car related things like mechanics or body shops. i used to when my dad worked at an autobody, but that was like 15 years ago

If it's to paint your eyelids... I would just try to paint them yourself. It'd be a fun little project to do anyways. Just remove them before you paint them on? Or if they're so cheap anyways, order another set to paint and make it fun. You seem to have the money to toss around anyways

Wow. I step away for a couple of months to take car of my new son and Racingline jumps in and starts making grounding kits huh? hehehe

If anybody has questions for me, just email me or post up in the Fab Marketplace.

I'll be posting up a thread with some pics of my son soon, so you know I didn't just fall off the face of the earth hehehe.

So this is where all of the Vancouver folk are hiding eh!When you guys get the eyelids on, let me know!I've been debating them for so long but I really want to see them in person! We need to have a mini meet or something to check out everyone's parts.I have Racingline's grounding kit aswell. Great product and awesome colour!I have the blue but he's got some other sexy colours aswell. Did you see the other colours Blackmobile? I'm thinking I might throw some cash at Joe to trade for the black.Seems like Blackmobile and I cross paths at Joe's place but never meet up!

Also, I've heard from a couple people that Advanced AutoSport is a place that you might want to stay away from. I have no personal experience with the place, but from what I've heard from friends. The Falken 452's are awesome tires for summer. Nitto 555's are pretty much the same tire for the same price!

Congrats on the new family member Sentient!! Must be exciting.

Yeah i saw all the colours, the blue, red and matte black. i got hooked up with the blue which i'm happy about since i was hoping to add some blue accents to my engine bay this summer. Joe mentioned that the grounding kit should be abour 45 bucks btw.

we should have a meet at joes!

so bad things from advanced huh? his price is right but that usually means something else is lacking. he quoted me a set of 18" konig unknonw look-a-likes with tires for $1k, i'm thinking about it. maybe i'll ask wheels west about their deals, so far i've only askem them about tires. thx for the heads up!

haha I'm not too sure Joe's wife would be happy about a meet in their front yard.I bet Joe would love a meet cause then he could sell tons of stuff in one night!Yeah try Wheels West. I know Wheels West is a legit company cause I worked at the MHT warehouse for a bit and we delivered to them quite often.I've heard Advanced get their wheels a different way.

So which eye lids did you get Akamaru? And did you order them off ebay or a different company?

Not to mention the brand of tires that advance autosport offers... they all look like no-name (s*** quality) tires.
