I had a little t3/t4 50 trim and the compressor housing hit the manifold. I used T3 flange to space it out but I don't think you'll be able to do that with the GT35R.
Well I ordered this adapter, and I'm going to use it on my current set-up. I'll post pictures when I get it in

My set up....Stock mani, T3/T3 adapter, 38mm Tial Wastegate and GT35R

I have an Sc61, which has the GT35r compressor and wheel. It does hit the manifold if bolted straight up, but all you have to do is pull the studs out and replace them with slightly larger studs. Get a 1/2 spacer with drilled out holes, or just buy one threaded and drill the threads out, two gaskets and it's done.

I have been in a RB25 with a 3076, the power band is just crazy, I mean seriously you get power... everywhere, MASSIVE burnouts, everything you could ever want an moar!

I understand wanting a 35R but.... you can do 3076 soooo much easier

A few set backs and a trying to find some time between me and my buddy helping with the wiring and MS setup, but that time has finally come. This upcoming Wednesday the motor will be in the car bolted up. All down hill from there other then the MS, but my friend is pretty sure to have that figured out. How has your car been?

On a side note, do you guys recommend the .63 or .82 turbine if someone was going to go the 3076r route.

My car has been running strong ever since I replaced the coils. I was building the tune up towards the end of summer, but the wideband sensor started to drift and I had to take a weeks worth of logging and throw it out...

Next year I will keep raising the boost until it maxes out the Z32 MAF and then I don't know what I'll do. I may end up going with a new MAP-based EMS or somehow rigging up a second unmetered intake and see how it runs.

.82 or even bigger... .63 would be small and it would probably drop torque off hard in high RPMs

im going with a divided 1.06 T4 3076R...well see how it performs in the coming months

I ran a .73 on my 3076r (when I had a RB25), and I think it was a good. It was laggier than stock obviously, and burnouts had to be initiated at a much higher RPM, but other than that it was an awesome turbo.IMO, I wouldn't go higher than .82.

so with a smaller (0.63) ar, will the power come quicker? and with a bigger (0.82) ar, it will lag slightly more?

I think I read in a thread somewhere that a GT3076 on an RB20/25 would be better with a larger AR would be easier to control from a stop. Just asking for clarification, I'm in the market for a GT3076, just wasn't sure what AR would be good for my RB25. It's a stock bottom end for now, but plan on building up later, but I was gonna get a bigger turbo when I did that , I was just looking for something to put me into the 300-350+ HP range now..

Yes, a lower AR (.63) will spool quicker than a larger AR. With that, it will run out of breath on the top end quicker as well.

Bigger AR, means more lag, but more potential power up top if you have the supporting mods to do so. I think my .73 was a good balance of both, I wouldn't go larger. But that's just my opinion. I'd much rather have boost quicker and throttle response than a huge dyno number. Laggy turbos aren't much fun to drive. Plus, you'll win more races with your boost coming on quicker, especially on the street. By the time the big turbo spools and you get through the tire spin, the race is over.

Yes, we all know that it is easier to make power with the 3076R but some of us love the capabilities of the 3582R aka 35R. And lag is all in the tuning, and proper parts matching. You can have just as much from if not more from a 35R without sacrificing response too much.

I have to say that may be the best turbo for the rb25 yet. The torque was right there beside the hp and still made 500 whp..!!!!!

i have a hx35 that im putting on over the winter. I have heard that the hx has the same spool and hp capabilities as the 3076...?

is that true??

What cams, boost, and fuel were you running? Id love even a solid 400whp 400tq setup.

thats a pretty old video..

HX35 wont spool like a 3076 i would venture to say its somewheres between a 30 and 35R judging from its specs
