T25 or T28

Ive searched but cant find anything, Im trying to figure out how you identify the 2 turbos, without taking them apart.

correct me if i'm worng but the font aluminum housing look almost the same, and the rear of the both turbo looks the same, can you swap the parts?

whats the difference between the t28 that on the s14 and the s15?

The front housing of the T28 would probably fit on a T25. But there is no benefit I can think of, only negative consequences. The compressor inlet and outlet pipes are turned the wrong way from T25 pipes so that would need to be fixed. The wheel on the T28 is larger so if you put it over a T25 wheel there would be a large gap and it would mess up the efficiency of the turbo.

Difference between S14 and S15 T28's, different material for wheels, and a cast divider between the wastegate and the turbine wheel.

Exhaust housings would be practically useless to change because other than the cast divider they are the same.

i thought that the s15 dual bb turbo was a dirrect bolt on to the s13 red/blacktop?

what am i missing here?

It will bolt on to the exhaust manifold and O2 extension no problem. But look at the pics, the compressor inlet and outlet are cocked different directions. The oil and coolant lines would need to be rebent, which is why stainless lines are prefered.
