Just to clarify, you will need the RB25DET engine crossmember. For the transmission, you can either use the RB25DET trans. crossmember, or one out of an automatic 240SX (KA).
Wish I knew that earlier, now I gotta find a trans xmember. Are there any other parts from a front clip that people using motorsets need to use this kit?

Transmission crossmember should be rather easy to find, especially since a lot of auto 240sx owners swap them out.

You need the RB25 crossmember, RB25 factory engine brackets, and the transmission crossmember(RB25, or automatic KA). All this information and more can be found at http://www.sykoperformance.com or here zerothread/234206

Most motor sets usually come with the trans. cross member attached. As Henry said, these are quite easy to find (if you don't get one on your motor set). Not really any other parts needed from the clip--unless you chose to run a stock SMIC.

Hmmm...I guess the answer would be no. We do not have an RB20 kit or a DIY RB26DETT kit. As for the RB25DET, it will fit into any 89-98 240SX--with the exception of a few wrecked ones. We also don't have a kit for the RB30.

Okay, Would the R34 Neo RB25DET engine mount into any 240sx with R33 cross member and Syko kit?

I had just sent payment for the Syko mount kit and I'm looking for a RB motorset. So I needed to know if their are any other options aside from the R33 RB25DET.

Thanks

We've never personally installed a Neo RB25DET with our kit. However, we sold one to a customer who did. We know he got the swap done but couldn't tell you if he ran into any issues. Looking at both crossmembers, brackets, etc., we don't see any visual differences. Should not be any problem.

If you run into any differences, let us know and we'll do our best to help you out. The wiring will probably be the toughest part. There are only few people that have experience with those harnesses. A qualified tech using a decent set of wiring schematics should have no problems with this. Doing it yourself might be a bit tricky.

From what i know there is not any major, people run Neos with the mckinney mounts and mckinney does not offer a different kit when doing that swap. So that along with someone already using it on a Neo that has not reported problems, i would have to conclude that it will work fine.

I'm going with Flex-A-Lite dual 12" pushers. Heard they should fit without cutting the radiator support.

I'm purchasing them at a local shop because I can get a good deal from a friend. The 210's are pullers you need to get the 240 model.
