thanks for the heads up about the plugs. yea, i didnt read up as much as i should have about the CA kit. i read a couple posts where people said they bought the CA kit and it worked and a few that said otherwise, so i figured what the hell, buy the CA kit.. then of course after i had already bought it i read even more posts about CA fmic kits being crappy and how the s14 one fits better. ive been kicking myself in the arse about it since. however, i sent them an email (im sure im not the first) telling them about the fitment and how the picture they advertise looks nothing like the kit i recieved. they asked me to give them some pics and other info so i sent it and got this back today...

"Hi we have received the complain and have forwarded it onto the shippers...please allow them 24 business hours to determine the nextstep. Thank you"

hopefully they will be able to help me remedy this situation but i think im taking an optimists point of view when i should be thinking more realistically. they will probably come up with some sort of reason as to why they shouldnt have to help me out and fix their mistake. granted there are lots of posts deferring people from buying the CA kit, but if they made the kit properly, it wouldnt be an issue. we'll see what happens...

on a side note, does anyone know off hand what the 2 yellow & 2 green wires next to the fuse box in the pic below go to???? looking on HT i think the green w/orange is the trans neutral sensor? the other green one might be AC relay but i dont recall if it has a yellow stripe or not. i have no idea about the yellow ones...

thanks.

you may want to pop off the bottom of the fuse box. And see if you can find the same color wires, and and trace it to a relay/fuse from there.

sweet tats yo! im just going to keep my mouth shut.

and dont take it out on the company you bought the intercooler from because you ordered the wrong junk. instead of saying that they sent you the wrong pipes, just ask for an exchange.

yea, its my fault but technically i didnt order the wrong kit. the site says the kit is for a CA18DET and it does not fit. if every CA kit they sell does not fit, the problem lies with them. i know i could have avoided this situation altogether had i read up more and just bought the s14 kit instead, but poop happens and im learning from my mistakes. im paying for it by not doing enough preliminary research and not having enough patience to double check information and find out what will work properly. im probably going to take a loss on this and get a different one. so far everything ive read about that kit has been mostly negative. maybe both SSAC and i need to heed the old saying.. "measure twice, cut once" a little bit better...

oh... will someone PLEASE delete the pics of the cum-dumpster? i can feel my lunch coming back up...

Dude, I would totally hit it. Trashy chicks are the BEST for drunken one night stands. I should know

Great progress! I love when someone does a swap with serious mods at the same time. Makes the pic watching all the more fun.
