Sorry for techinacally double posting but ive got some info for you guys.

Here my swap finished thread:zerothread/186525

now for the info.. I used the SSAC S14/S15 SR Intercooler kit. Fit Flawlessly. Literally.. the only problem we had was that they packaged 2 of the wrong size silicone reducers.. needed to buy a 3-2 3/4 and 2 1/2 - 2. Luckily theres a guy on ebay who sells them for 20 buy it now with tbolts so that was taken car of easily. This kit is the perfect CA kit.

Everyone knew that the s14 coldpipe fit but the holt pipe also works!! Just figured you guys would enjoy that

did you attach the bottom directly to the lower rad mount? or did you use brackets? (noticed its a popup front s13 as well) please post pics of the install (top and bottom IC mounts) using only what ssac gave you?

if i remember correctly, we used 2 of the hnagers SSAC providedand attached them to the bottom of the intercooler once it was mounted up top. we then bent the down at an angle because there were some holes that would like up perfectly, went out, baught some bolts and some nuts to use as spacers and just bolted it right in. That intercooler is in ther good.. no need to remove the crash bar either

The only hardware we used from the ssac kit were the l brackets for the bottom and the long alan screw for the top hanger.

On the bottom we took the l brackets and bent them a little and used 1/4 x 1.25" bolt with nut to fasten and 2 slighty bigger nuts as spacers.

And for the top hanger we used 2 1/2" nuts as spacers and the long alan screw that came with the kit.

Only thing else we had to do was cut off a piece off the vertical bracket that the headlight motors mount to. Intercooler sllides right in between the crash bar and the AC condensor with no issues. Worked like a charm and holds tight as hell.
