Didnt know where to put this.. figured more of you would appreciate it here since most people dont go to the CA forum..

Its been a month and a half coming and I am glad to say that my CA18DET swap is finished. Recieved the clip on June 2nd and began work immediatly. Sorry no pics of the actuall swap in progress. Just some of the final stuff.

Me and a friend (anumeric on the forums) did this at my house during weekend and any other free time. Changed out the usuall stuff.. timing belt, thermostat blah blah. Fired up immediatly and runs great. Driven 40 miles and its the best 40 miles ive shared with my 240..

First time ive driven without radio for a while.. wastegate is music to my ears now.. Without further ado, heres the pics..

Intercooler installed:

Final engine bay pics:

Final Car shots:

Me with my baby:

Sorry for all the pics. Just so happy you know? Haha.. love this thing even more know. Thanks for looking, enjoy!

Me and my friend did the swap so i saved on labor

the engine was 1100 shipped and add on all the other parts (maybe an extra 700 including oil and bs like that)

about 1800 in total id say... deffinatly worth it

and yea, as far as body is concerned.. its staying that way... ill be painting soon but not body kit or conversions for me..

Not the cleanest swap but not bad for a couple of smucks. lol would've been done much sooner if it wasn't for cash money shortage and the bad weather on the weekends. But now you can help me with my parts I have sitting around. Also now's there 2 halfway decent cars in pwncaeks, wtf is this world coming to? lol

lol... pwncaeks is moving on up i gues..

and the intercooler is the SSAC S14/S15 SR Kit. The piping fits perfectly unlike their labeled CA Kit..

Looking good!

CA's have to be the best bang for the buck swap. Half the price of an SR, a thrid of the price of an RB, and just as much fun.
