maybe I need to go to your buddy then, but most paint shops have universally told me that its not easy to match factory paint, especially not on the first try... but Elk Grove is a bit too far for me to travel for a paint job

yeah ive mixed paint before for my dad when he used to have a detailing business, and its not easy to get it right but its also not impossible. I was actually better at it then he was...lol you just have to be very precise when mixing the paints. Temp and humidity will have more effect on how the paint sets and dries but angle can def effect an even spread

Since my car is already black I didn't think the matte black would look good on my rear bumper so I went with grey

I know a lot of ppl are not a fan of my spoiler but I like it better then any of the other spoilers on the market. Feel free to talk all the crap you want about it but its not coming off. I posted pics to let ppl see the different color combos for the ED rear bumper. If you still feel the need to talk crap about the spoiler at least make it funny so we can have a good laugh or else you'll just look like your hating on it cause you want one.

idk, its not too bad to me. not my style but then again neither is the VIP style which everyone loves (his car with the wing looks 1,000 times better then most VIP cars IMO) and the wing goes with the theme of the car. Greddy exhaust, ED rear bumper, big wing, they're all in the same category to me. ppl love the Greddy exhaust, ppl love the ED rear bumper, idk why those ppl dont love the spoiler... maybe they do but are too scared they will be called a ricer... NOT MY STYLE but its not bad looking and i give him props for being different.

I for one approve of your spoiler

best looking spoiler out there. the rest is all crap to me. yours at leasts is a real AWESOME BIG one and it flows with the trunk too! why can't they make one like yours ( a little less agressive and oem looking with normal mounts would be awesome!)

anyhow lots of respect

I would like to see other pics of it before I give my opinion, to see how it flows with the whole car.

But what I will say is that your exhaust tips look a bit off, like the left (driver side) one hangs a tad lower than the right one.

I like the bumper with gray though, it looks good

Well, there are no GT concept rear bumpers here in SOCAL, and there won't be until Oct 1st, so I'll be waiting a few weeks for this next mod... if all goes well, we should have the car ready by Stillen's customer appreciation day!

i like the black and grey on the ed. The spoiler matches with everything else you have goin. i think it would look good if you tint the taillights or debadge it so you have a little less going on. i think it would look pretty clean. post more pics of your car, i want to see it.

THanks... I just went ahead and purchased that grille... its a bit much chome for me (the grille plus chrome mustache) but I think I'm gonna get bluebatmobile's mustache overlays to dial down the chrome... then we'll see what's up... thanks again for the quick reply!

How early do you guys get there to get the good parking ??? I know last year that guy Kevin Doyle was right in their parking lot by the entrance, and I saw Docs car out on the street but still real close to the door...

Its not a APR spoiler it was sitting in my friends garage and reminded me of the lines on trunk. I'm not a fan of the stands but if anyone wants more pics let me know I'll post some up.

We got there an hour before the stated gate opening time.... Kevin Doyle got there after us, but Steve Millen himslef liked Kevin's car so much that he wanted it inside the gate... since I was coming from San Diego, and Blake was coming from Camarillo, we got a Hotel a few miles away from Stillen's headquarters , stayed there the night before and just got up mad early the next morning

October 17th... I have a 2 bedroom penthouse suite reserved at the residence Inn in Costa Mesa for the friday night before the event...

Everyone's invited to crash there the night before if they want... Blake already called dibs on the second bedroom, but there's a sleeper sofa also so first come first served regarding that one... in any case, we'll probably just get wasted, pass out, wake up and head down to the event the next morning.... looking forward to it!
