I like the idea of easier to install and maintain power. No bullshat, no blown seals, no need for worry. But, if it is the same cost as a turbo kit (or more), than why mess with it. I like supercharging better for domestics (more applications and cheaper) and on the Integras is a little cheaper, but how much for my DE?

On a side note, it is a stupid question. Can a SR20 exhaust manifold be made to fit my KA24DE? The reason I ask is I found a new stainless complete system with turbo flanges for $550 on ebay.

turbos use power by restricting the exaust which in a sense uses power

i remember i saw a post somewhere that rippmods.com was looking for a ka24de to supercharge. they use a vortech unit on their kits. i think i read they needed a car for one month of r&d and the kit would be sold at cost to the person with free install. they never got anyone though.

If you can find that info, tell them they have a test candidate.

if you want just go to rippmods.com. all the info should be there. they are located in staten island, ny.... if i remember correctly. i've seen their kits first hand and even rode in a car supercharged by them. great quality stuff, and great power/ride. i just never knew they were looking into making a kit for the 240
