Sil-Line, I dont believe STM has sway bar spacers. I asked them about them when i ordered my mounts and they said that they redesigned the mounts so that they werent needed.

IT WILL NOT WORK THE 240 CROSS MEMBER PUTS ENGINE WAY OFF. I TRIED IT WITH MY RB20 AND IF I REMEBER CORRECTLY THE ENGINE WOULD BE HALF WAY IN THE RADIATOR SUPPORT OF THE CAR.

Just to let you guys know. STM is going to be fixing their problem. Hopefully this will all work out and they'll come out with a good set of mounts.

We will keep you guys updated when all this gets solved.

I was about to say the same thing. Turns out the car they were taking measurements from, the frame was bent throwing things off.

yes as of right now i retract all the bad things i have said about them, the wiring is still taking too long but they said they will fix their screw up and "compensate" us. whatever the hell that means.

krayton and I will be doing a full write up on STM weather good or bad and posting it on all the major nissan boards once everything is resolved.

STMS means good business. As far as I know the reason for the delay on the harneses is because they are concentrating on the mount kits. They are taking care of the problems which is good for a company to admit and do. Once things catch up thay should be ready to go again. Every company has their issuses and they are dealing with thiers to fix them for us.

I'm very intrested in STM's products. I've e-mailed them in the past about a few questions but they're extremely busy (What shop offering great prices isn't?). I had a couple questions I've asked them but their answers weren't too clear.I head that the McKinney mounts don't require swapping x-members. Does STM require a x-member swap? Also, does STM make actual mounts or do they make a spacer kit? And last but not least...does it move the engine lower and back like the McKinney does?

Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated!

They offer mounts. They were going to have spacers but redesigned the mounts instead. Their mounts untilize the stock r33 crossmember. But currently they are doing some stuff with their mounts due to some measuring errors that you can find out about in previous posts. They are supposed to lower and move the engine back, and im hoping thats what the final design will do, I have been unable to contact them for the last few days so I dont have all the information yet. Hope this answers your questions.

Yes that true. Ive been talking to Patrick at STMS. The kits are going to be doing the same thing as the mckinney are going to do. Yes the also require you to use the r33 x-member. It will be beifitial to you anyway to buy the clip instead of just the motor. They can also splice the harnesses together so you have a perfect working harness. Plug and play baby. http://www.supertunermotorsports.com

I think it's a great move. Also, I think they will do very well since they offer the entire swap kit at a killer price. When the two harnesses are integrated together, all the small stuff (Like AC, and, kicking the AC fan on, wipers, etc. ) should work, right?

I wish there was an option to use the RB cluster. That'd be pretty cool, but it'd probably just cause more wiring nightmares to integrate smoothly. Maybe in the future! :D

Just need to correct something........

S13Sil-line, the Mckinney mounts DO NOT USE the Gts-T crossmember. We use the STOCK KA one. This is why we bring in alot of motor kits. You can ask anyone that uses our kits and no one has changed their crossmember or have any issues with the hood, shifter location, sway bar, and firewall. There are lots of them on this board.

Our RB26DETT (YES I said TT) is the same. It uses a KA crossmember and you can keep your twin turbo setup.

I have four stock Gts-T crossmembers if anyone needs them.

Our wiring service makes everything work like stock except the AC as of right now.

Sorry about this mods, I just want to clear things up so that people don't get their kits mixed up.

Is A/C wiring troublesome? I thought it was just one plug to kick the clutch on the compressor on or off and the rest of the stuff under the dash takes care of the rest. On the other hand, I don't have the slightest clue what either harness looks like...

Oh I know. Im sorry. What I meant by the same is they both move the motor down and back. I should have said the mckinney mounts use the stock x-member.

you know, ive asked every place that does the wiring for a s14 RB swap and none of them will touch the ac wiring.

i dont know if that means its very hard or very easy.

Do you still have to mess with the power steering lines for the mcKinney even though they use the stock x-member?

As for the RB AC wiring, do people know how to do it for the S13? I've noticed a lot of places tend to stay away from AC wiring with a ten foot pole...even for SRs.
