Sueing SSAUTOCHROME for messing up my Z

I don't know about anyone else, but if I had a $30,000 car and was test fitting something and saw it wasn't fitting, I don't think I'd start hacking away the car. Test fit usually means you try it, and if it doesn't fit, you tell them why and where.

At first is was just the cat-back at time I was going to replace it so it was no biggie plus I was trying to work with them. Then later it was discovered that the steer arm was rubbing.

That sucks about the steering arm. How much would it cost to fix?

I don't want to be the ney sayer or anything, but if the headers didn't fit you should have let them know and sent them back. They would probably have [or should have] sent you a revised header to try again. I would imagine that will be their defense in court, that you should have sent the header back if it didn't fit, because they weren't giving the header to you, only lending it to you for a fitment check. If it was a header out of their product line then you might have some ground to stand on, but as a prototype there are inherent risks. I do hope you signed a contract before hand.
