A "true" subwoofer must reach to at least 20Hz,{otherwise it is really just a woofer, not a sub-woofer} and to 15Hz is ideal......and expensive

I had a Velodyne DD15 home sub that would reach below 20Hz cleanly and it was quite nice with laserdiscs and DVDs.....not for serious music listening.

You mean "cant" hear anything below 20Hz. I hope. You sure do FEEL it though, like the earth moving below you!

Where do you put the baby stroller, baby carrier, diaper bag and luggage when you go visit the in-laws?

My trunk. I don't think there's room for an amp. Rock on.

My setup too lazy to write up.Im just pushing pure bass because i got tweeters in the doors etc.

Konaki 1400watt amp (pushing only 550-700watt out of it)15" Kicker Subs single coil (planning on dual coil sometime)Pheonix Gold Capacitor (there's tape so incase the wires slip out)

All wired up by me.Rattles at 25 vol and i found out the rear deck part was starting to rattle off had to push back down.

Nice massage though.I like timderiksen setup too.The setup i have is heavy and huge ask Mike lol. He's like WOAH!!!

Anyways anymore subwoofer guys?

edit:Need a new stereo head unit im running off one channel.

That's why your idle rpm was set so high so you wouldn't bog down off the line with all the extra weight in the trunk. You need to turn it up about another 50rpm to compensate.

When Berner opened the trunk and I saw that huge box I think I asked him why he was hauling around a casket. The capacitor was as big as a shoebox. The amp that I'm constantly lugging out of my daughter's Accord when she needs the room is only about a 20" box and I can barely lift it.

I'm just funnin with you guys. Your installs look clean and professional and I'm sure it sounds great. Enjoy.

**** mines a mono amp look in to hifonics lots of power for the price i think mine cost me 200 for a 2400watt max amp

i just bought 20feet of 0 gauge wire to run a 2nd battery and i have 4 gauge running to my amp now

if the 2nd bat doesn't help with my lights dimming then im gonna get a rebuilt altenator built by mechman http://www.mechman.com that will put out more amps at idle

A capacitor is a battery. It keeps it from dimming and pulling all the power out of your car's battery.I would get that instead.

Well if you been there done that keep it like that.Adding more weight to the car with more batteries sounds terrible to me.You car is gonna look like a lowerider on hydros or something.
