I am going to look into this a bit as it would not be too difficult to install, and yeah, you do get used to the noise. Lastly, thanks for that torque spec, get on it immediately sir.
Cool, man. If you do any suspension mods, you should jack your car up after some time and retorque everything again to make sure. I always do that to mine.

I have some updates. I decided to do something about it since my car is still on jack stands. I happened to have some of this sticker sheet at home. I got it from a shop that makes signs a long time back. I removed the top collars, put 10 layers on each of them and cut with a paper knife. Came out like a couple of mms thick, and I just reinstalled all of them. I haven't driven my car yet, so no reviews available at the moment. Hope it would do better than nothing.

I made something of a discovery. '90 and up Honda Accords with an auto transmission. The forward most transmission mount in front of radiator has 2 rubber spacers about 3.5"x 1/8" thick. I snagged four of these and am going to try using these as dampeners. I dont feel like dropping the whole subframe. so I am gonna slot them so they will slide in just like the collars. After compression I dont think they will take up more than 2 turns of thread on the bolts. Maybe less. I am gonna let the sun go down a bit. On a different note, my helical is at the post office!!!! Picking that bad boy up on Monday.

Okay,Here goes the review on aluminum collars. Well, basically I'm with Eddie. I didn't hear any banging or clunk noise, but I could feel the slight vibration only with the A/C turned on. I guess cuz rpm slightly goes up. Cabin noise? Sorry, don't know cuz I had to drop the top for the nice weather today. Actually, I installed pillow ball tension rods and aluminum collars at the same time and test drove it. Oh, boy!!! There was no nose dive when braking and launch was quick too. Car feels solid and well controlled. I took some hard turns and man... it handled like a dream. I'm very pleased!!!
