Whether or not the guy was trying to drift is debatable...
and??? people are going to be prejudice against almost anything they dont do themselves.... people do stupid things no matter what kind of car they are in. so lets sit back and enjoy the entertainment of them doing so...barefoot mat wrote:all this vids are the reason why average people hate modified car culture in general.
People vagging out.S13AL wrote:Its not street drifting, but there is an EPIC accident involving an s14 at 20 seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GMp9Edc ... re=related

ive had pals wreck (no drift, just accidents) as we rush to them. check them out, get them out of their cars, put hands on it and get it out of the way and to a safe spot. not laugh or continue filming while our friend is screwed.
this is my biggest problem with the younger crowd today, no f*** sense, more worried about whats cool or getting something entertaining on video than the car or the driver.
i mean damn, if your friend crashes for any reason, even if he was being a complete idiot, get to work on it, laugh later.
You wanna see it done right, then go to the track. Otherwise, it's simply done wrong.Toolegit wrote:Any street drifting gone right videos?
Well I think that's the point of this thread. It doesn't tend to go "right" very often. In fact you're putting yourself and others in a lot of danger. Clearly you see how people "think" they know how to drift, do a burn out, or fail skidding in the snow, but tend to wreck, or flip their cars. Consider how the people driving and see these accidents feel? I typically am never excited to see an accident in person, and more so when it comes down to a driver inability to drive, or because they were showing off.Toolegit wrote:Any street drifting gone right videos?
Toolegit wrote:I've actually seen some actual clean footage though of some togue drifting and street. If you notice alot of these kids that are crashing are starting their drifts late there lines are horrible just plain newbs Learning on how they think they can getthere car sideways. Now take some drivers who have experience in drifting And let them do some street and they'll actually put it down. Just IMO
Not the street but a closed parking lot. My car, NOT me driving.Toolegit wrote:Any street drifting gone right videos?
You and your friends fail at life. I remember there was a time when I can go out in my 240 and drive around all day long without worrying the police. Now jack@sses like you and your friends gives the police a legitimate reason to pull me over. It doesn't matter that it's in a parking lot. It's done out in public, videos are posted on youtube, and cops knows that dumb@ss kids driving 240s are doing this.Frank E Bones wrote:

They can hate all they want, it wasnt me driving. I wouldnt have done that myself. It was done before the car became mine. I know its not worth it to do it on the street, no matter what the skill level. One simple little mistake and your taking the bus for a while.Toolegit wrote:Nice car man just get ready to be super hated on

This is nothing new to police. I can still drive my car all day and the cops dont even give me a second glance. As long as you follow the rules of the road that should keep the cops of your back, unless your car is obnoxiously loud or something. I live just 2 blocks away from the police station and I never have to worry about a thing. I dont agree with the fact that a few dumbasses can cause trouble for the rest of us.S14toRPS13 wrote:You and your friends fail at life. I apologize if you had nothing to do with this, but I don't like the reputation that a lot of people have given 240s now a days. It pisses me off to get labeled as a street racer or street drifter.Frank E Bones wrote:They can hate all they want, it wasnt me driving. I wouldnt have done that myself. I know this is nothing new to the police, but it gives the police and the state more reasons to crack down on car enthusiasts. You might not think that a few can ruin it for the rest of us, but let one person drift their 240 into a nice little innocent girl in a nice little neighborhood. The cops will be tearing 240s up left and right and these videos will make the case for the government to pour millions of dollars into these crackdown. I have other means of transportation, but a lot of teenagers and college students can't say the same.Frank E Bones wrote: This is nothing new to police. No need to apologize dude, I agree with you too.S14toRPS13 wrote:I apologize if you had nothing to do with this, but I don't like the reputation that a lot of people have given 240s now a days. It pisses me off to get labeled as a street racer or street drifter.
LOL, try living in Cali man.S14toRPS13 wrote:but it gives the police and the state more reasons to crack down on car enthusiasts.
Believe me, I know. I lived 23 years in CA. Been harrassed by the cops a lot through out those years too. I didn't realize how bad it was to be a car enthusiast in CA until I moved out.Frank E Bones wrote:
