I know buddy club and trust make some. Can we get a little list going so I can see what companies make what so I can pick a style I want for my exhaust?

"i" before "e", except after "c". or when sounded as "a", as in neighbor and weigh.

Sounds like someone needs to do some researching and make a list for himself.

Buddy Club spec 2 isn't totally "straight through".It's got that resonator in there, right?

Mine did anyways.

They do but, but most resinators are a straight through design, they have a slightly smaller diameter(1/4'-1/2' smaller) perferated pipe with a stainless steel wool sandwiched between it and the out shell. Besides resonators don't really do much to quiet the exaust, they do more to smooth the tone.

I'm trying to figure out what exhaust to go with, i like the buddy club but i believe it hangs too low. The only exhaust that i know that tucks up decently is the Megan can device.

I don't think the buddy club hangs low. It's pretty simple and doesn't have big canisters or mufflers to get caught up on stuff.

I'm either doin a Dart Izumi style or Buddy Club style exhaust once my headers come in.

I like Dart Izumi style exhausts. Two tips is better then one.

Is that the Isis or the Dart Izumi?

It's the ISIS one.

Dart Izumi Jr. isn't even a company anymore from what I can tell.

You can come across the real exhausts here and there, but people want RIDICULOUS prices for them. There is a real one on Zilvia right now but the dude wants $500 for it. Brand new, they were only like $250 or something.

I'd say if you want "fencepipes" style, ISIS is your best bet.

also, the real Dart Izumi ones were slightly angled up at the end. They had a few different versions too.

Full stainlessOne has mild steel piping or something.one had a resonator I think.

tips come out perfect for most kits probably would sit in or flush with something like bn or other super flared kits.

I run 3" unrestricted pipe from the turbo back, then cut it down to 2.5" just before dumping it out the driver's side, just in front of the rear wheel.

...it cost me $60.

Thats because s14's with a stock exhaust manifold and down pipe have a cat in the down pipe right up against the exhaust manifold, and I didn't think mine was that loud either untill I put in the sr.

Look at my first post in this thread, there is a picture of my car with the buddy club exhaust on it.

yeah I knows about that one. I always thought about figuring out how to get rd of it, but decided it's best since it was a daily driver.

You are correct BH, my BC II is nice and flush with the floor pan and has a nice upward angle at the rear. Unless you've got some sloppy hanger bushings I don't see how it would drag......
